Well the panic buying is happening again...
battleop replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I don't think this is a panic buying over the threat of legislation as much as it is a panic buying out of fear that they will get in a situation where they can't defend them selves. For the most part legislation is dead until the the midterms int 2014. -
This only helps their argument. They will claim that if EVERY in EVERY state followed their laws then they would not have been able to get the guns. We all know this is bullshit but that's how they will swing it.
-
So it's more than two days. Has anyone seen any boogie man proposals yet?
-
I think this is a sign that its getting better. Items are beginning to stay in stock for longer periods of time. At one time 9mm at sportsmanship wasn't lasting 10 min and now it's lasting a day or two. I thnk by June/July it should be fairly easy to get what you need with a little digging and by sept/oct it will be back in the shelves and not behind a counter.

The guy is an attention whore. Instead of just answering a question or two and going on about his business he decided to pick a fight with the officer. Then he has to tell us about his poor little boy who is sooooo traumatized that has a panic attack at the sigh of a police officer. Bullshit, I call complete bullshit on that.

Fatal shooting of dog in front of owner apparently legal
battleop replied to billyscott's topic in General Chat
Then they would hit you with some cruelty to animals charge of some sorts. -
The cop was doing what he was sworn to do. He started by asking a question to which the guy gave a smart ass answer knowing good and well what he was doing. This isn't the first fight that Sgt. C.J. Grisham has picked with someone.
-
"He then asked me what I’m doing with the rifle, to which I responded in a calm manner, “Does it matter, officer? Am I breaking the law?†" Was it really that hard to answer the officer's question without coming off as a prick? What possible harm would come from telling the truth right off the bat instead of being confrontational? "Grisham said his boy was traumatized by the incident. “Every time he sees a police officer he has a panic attack,†he said. “That’s unfortunate because we always taught our kids to respect police officers. My wife and I are angry about it.†That's code for "I've won the lottery! I'm suing for 10000000000000000 bucks".

Nothing like a full on knee jerk panic mode to justify your job. Knee jerk reactions in NYC and DC. -
How much was the 1000 rounds and what kind?

Where to buy my Dillon? I am in Nashville
battleop replied to serbu50's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
I know a guy that works for a company that sell Dillon. In the past he told me they could not sell Dillion above or below what Dillon advertised and they were pretty strict on it. They can't advertise or give you a price over the phone that differs from Dillion pricing but if you are standing there with money in hand that might be a different story. -
LOL At the end Anderson Cooper says that the guns were turned over to CNN Security. I bet they took them home. :)
-
So both the seller and buyer broke the law and no one is going to question that?

The Apple TV won't do much to replace your $100/mo Directv bill because everything on it is pretty much Pay Per View. You should probably look at a Roku/Netflix type setup if you are trying to replace Directv. If you have an iPhone/iPad then an Apple Tv is an absolute must. It's without a doubt the best accessory to the iphone/ipad because it's pretty much an extension of the idevice to your TV.

I don't see it being more than $20 tops. Maybe $10 state $10 Fed. So riddle me this Batman. How can you buy a gun online today with the current laws and avoid a background check legally? What site allows you to buy guns like you would anything else online?

On the radio this morning the only detail they (ABC News) are reporting is that family transfers are exempt and commercial transactions will be tightened up. Nothing was mentioned about private party between non family members.

I was there around 11-11:30 and they had 12-14 Bushmasters and 1 DPMS. I think we have reached the point where people are not fighting the campers anymore and now people who are buying for them selves are starting to get ARs at reasonable prices. I wonder how long it will be until you see ammo on the shelves and not at customer service.

Pat Robertson On DHS Arms Build-Up
battleop replied to RED333's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
There is no conspiracy here nor is it some super secret Obama black ops mission to shoot every citizen 5 times. It's a contract of supply 5 YEARS WORTH of ammo to the US government. When DHS was created just about everyone out side of the ATF, CIA, DEA, FBI, and Secret Service was roll into DHS. There are at least 50-70k gun carrying Federal Agents from Postal Inspectors, Park Rangers, Border Patrol, NOAA Agents to Indian Tribal Affairs, 1.6 billion / 5 years = 320 Millions rounds PER YEAR. 320 Million Rounds / 60k gun toting agents = 5300ish rounds. 5300 rounds / 4 trips to the range per year = 1300ish rounds. This does not take into consideration that a lot of ammo is used for training academies plus the amount that each office would "stock pile". This is as retarded as the Obama is a secret Muslim Bull Shit. There are plenty of other bull shit things that Obama is doing but being a Muslim and hoarding ammo to kill US Citizens are not one of them. -
I saw an AR15 at Bass Pro Shops after 3pm for under $800 yesterday. You know thing are starting to get better when you see AR15s make it to the display shelf and last well beyond lunch time.

N. Korea's Kim aims rockets at DC, LA, Hawaii and Austin

I would be worried if the ICBMs were made in the last 10-15 years with parts made in China. -

North Korea Propaganda with antique tanks
battleop replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
China isn't going to do shit. They have become as dependent on the US as the US has China. If they do something to destroy our economy then they destroy their own. Without the USA they don't have millions of people to buy all of the crap they produce. -
