  1.    When you buy an NFA item through a Trust does the ATF know who the members of the Trust are?
  2.     I've got the 9mm and .40S&W all-steel Baby Eagles.  If I had to sell off my guns these would be the last two handguns to go.  They are without a doubt two of most favorite guns in the safe.
  3. "You have a clear shot at his back"   You may have a hard time proving that you're life was in danger unless their back was facing you but they were facing someone else.
  4. We are certainly only seeing one side to this story.  That being said I'm going to go out on a limb and say the whole thing could have been avoided.  I bet the cops didn't just pick some random innocent schmuck when they probably had a plethora of suspects with easy convictions.  I bet he was either a public drunk or real mouthy with the cops.
  5. The Chattanooga site is one exit across the state line next to the Costco.
  6. I forgot to ask... What do you want to do? Do you want to do LAN or WAN Networking? Server admin? Linux or M$? If you have an idea of what you ultimately want to do you will have a better idea of your route.
  7. Most guys I work with I IT generally make fun of the whole A+ thing. Why? Because most of the A+ guys we encounter just get their A+ and then they think they are better than a CCIE or MCSE. Some places an A+ will help you get past the HR drones and some places won't care. It really depends on the environment you you want to work in. If you want the 8 to 5 be just another number in the IT department then you probably need the A+.
  8. It can be tracked down but it can be labor intensive because you have to work with multiple companies in multiple jurisdictions. Often the records are lost by the time you get all the way back to the caller.
  9. I use a food sealer to store my brass.  After cleaning it I will throw it in the sealer and suck the air out of the bag so it will stay nice and shinny for a long time.   I don't pre-prime my brass because I use the same primer in multiple calibers so I don't want to tie primers up in a specific round.
  10. It lists Bud's on Brainerd as no guns allowed. We eat there almost every Friday and I've yet to see a legal posting anywhere.
  11.     AR-15, AK47, type guns converted to meet the definition of a pistol.
  12.   That's the price you pay to stick to your guns.   I've not and will not be back in Dick's even if they are giving stuff away.
  13.     I looked them up on their website.  One is 175k feet and the other is 80k feet.  I guess we're getting the smaller one.   I'm happy with either.    I keep hearing rumors that Bass Pro is coming to the Cleveland area.   Maybe is and the Gander Mountain announcement will force a "ME TOO!" announcement.
  14. I guess I don't know much about gun stores....   They left them in the display case and not locked up where it would be hard to smash and grab?
  15.   If they are illegal and you can't buy them wouldn't that make them priceless?
  16.     If it's your ONLY source of telephone service stick with POTS for now.  If you have other sources of telephone service like Cellular then go ahead and save some money but don't look at just Comcast.  If you have a fax machine or home alarm you may or may not have trouble depending on the device.
  17. This is just another step closer to replicators and holodecks.
  18. I think the problem is that the movie is geared toward girls. I took my 9 year old son to the movies and he told me Frozen was a girlie movie so we went to see Thor.
  19. Screw Gander Mountain....  I'll continue to boycott them just like I do Dicks.        I once stopped in the Gander Mountain in Valdosta GA with my wife and son.  It's was a fall day and we were all wearing some sort of Alabama shirt.  They couldn't take the time to help me with a gun I wanted to buy but they made sure they let us know how much they hated Alabama.
  20.     I bet it will be now...
  21. "I'm close to 10K "   Ask again at 100k. :)
  22. All of the odd items stolen like refrigerators and trampolines were probably stolen for their scrap value or to sell on craigslist.
  23. Sportsman's Warehouse.
  24. I was there today picking up some wads and noticed they had cases of 9mm, 223, 7.62, and more.  I didn't look closely at what they had since I wasn't in need of anything other than 9mm that was 1000 rounds for about 250ish.  I didn't look close enough to see what the 9mm is so I can't comment on if the $250ish was a good or bad price.
  25. So more questions here....  I'm using the Layman 5th Edition Shotshell Reloading Handbook and it lists "Winchester HS or Compression Formed Plastic Cases, Fold Crimp" as one of the hulls.  So I Googled for some once fired Winchester HS Hulls and found the following:   http://www.ballisticproducts.com/Winchester-AA-HS-red-12ga-275-once-fired-100_bag/productinfo/AABW121/   and    http://www.ballisticproducts.com/Winchester-AA-HS-gray-12ga-275-once-fired-100_bag/productinfo/AABW12S1/   I've found that I have some of each laying around, enough to make up some test loads.   Other than the color is there any difference in these hulls other than the color?
