They are fine. I'd focus more on the barrel and BCG. Dolomite is the go to guy here. He'll tell you what you need know.

I was the unfortunate victim of identity theft. They got my name, address, phone # and Debit Card # Luckly, Visa's fraud team caught it before they charged too much. They got me for $170+ for 5 transaction in 1 hour. Weird part is, I got 2 of the orders in the mail. Why would the thieves send stuff to my home address? They even had my correct phone# The other purchases they made were for online media and downloads. I rarely ever use my debit card. Only for gas and occasional other purchases. I have no idea how they got all this information? Only online purchase I have ever made with it was to advanced auto parts. I'm completely lost how they got my information? I am almost afraid to go to the mail box at this point. Who know what else I'll get billed for??????? Spent all day calling Credit Reporting and Bank trying to freezing and block all credit attempts. This suck...I hope no has to experience this.....ever.

Never have figured out why a 2 legged creature would carry a 4 legged creature? But yeah, we all knew the 9 was the best. K9....lol

I carry a Streamlight Microstream. I carry it IN my pocket. It gets pretty beat up. What I like about it is that it has one mode. And it it's great for just about everything I need except for lighting up really large areas or ones really far off.

My advice is, since it's new - Send it Back -. No need trying to fix a problem if the manufacturer will for free. I no longer, Fix it 'till it's still broke" At least not if I don't have to..... Good luck if you do attempt to figure it out.

According to the guy in post #4. It should work fine other than being/looking bigger. http://www.taurusclub.com/forum/116-aesthetics-interior-wheels-tires/153122-tire-sizes.html#/topics/153122?page=1&_k=n13dwt

I like that the P320 is modular. So I'd pick it. I've owned a few M&P's. Never had an issue with them. You can't really go wrong either way. I'm going to say the Sig will sale better later if you ever decide you don't want it.

I don't know.... But I go by, "If a little bit SHOULD work, a whole lot WILL work." Just ask my general shop class teacher. I can make short work out of a whole bottle of wood glue.

The only time I ever had issues shooting 5.56 in a .223 chamber was in Ruger MK77. It was marked 223. I had a couple 5.56 that were were hard to eject by pulling the bolt back. That same day I attempted to fire steel case ammo as well. I literally had to hammer the bolt handle back to eject the cases. I'm not sure what was causing my issues. But none of the 223 ammo had this issue. Maybe it was a dirty chamber? Maybe it was the ammo? I never tried it again. That being said. I have shot 5.56 in a Savage Axis with no issues. Should you? I don't know. But I have and did..... Since you say his is a varmint heavy barrel. I'd stay a way from it. As it may have a little tighter chamber. Beating the bolt open is not something I like to do.

TN Handgun Carry Permit
TnShooter83 replied to Tyler Johnson's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I think it was 11 days from the time I left the DMV. But I did all my application process online. Basically they had all they need and was waiting on me to take the CCW class. Once I successfully completed the class if got fingerprinted and then paid the DMV. I did both 2 days after the classs. Took me longer to get in a class then it did to get the permit. -
Finally found a holster that's comfortable. I tried many different types from hybrid to kydex and leather. For my build I had to settle with leather IWB. Settled on a DeSantis Cozy Partner IWB. I've been told to remove my pistol each night and let the leather dry out. And others say to remove it once a week or so and a wipe down is good? If it matters, my current carry is a S&W Shield in a DeSantis Cozy Partner. My question is: Do you remove your pistol from the holster each night?

The G17 barrel will not work in a G19 or G26. The G19 barrel will work in a G26.
-
My understanding is the g29 use a barrel with different size lugs than the G20/G40. There for it will not work. I know this to be true with with the 40/9mm pistols. The full size and compact models use a different lug size. I learned this the hard way.

Old Bayonet? Any ideas?
TnShooter83 replied to TnShooter83's topic in Curio, Relics and Black Powder
I do think you have found the info I was looking for Thank you Sir. -
Had this old bayonet in my tool box for years. It says TERI on it. Other than that I don't know much about it. Don't really have a use or need for it. Just trying to figure out if it even worth trying to sell.
-
Love the one on top. I'd hang on to it. Nice collection sir.

A SP101 with a 3" barrel is one of the best all around choices for carry / shooting. For general shooting no carry. GP100 or 686 4"-5" barrel. And to maximize the full potential of the 357. 6"+ barrel.

G40 offers more power and can be converted to different calibers. It's bigger and weighs more. And is near or at the top of the list for Semiauto hunting. But it's not a substitute for a hunting rifle. Typically you don't find mags and accessories as easy for it. Ammo can be harder to find. G34 is what it is 9mm. It's slightly smaller and lighter. It's not ideal at all for hunting. But what pistol really is compared to a hunting rifle? You can find mags and accessories pretty much any where for it. Ammo isn't at all hard to find. Really it comes down to what you want more. Both are big and aren't very practical in my opinion. Just get the one you want.....more. lol Good luck.

Is Benefactor Subscription Reoccurring?
TnShooter83 replied to TnShooter83's topic in Feedback and Support
Question Answered. Thanks... -
Is the Benefactor Membership Reoccurring? Or do you purchase it every 6 months or Year? Basically, what I'm asking is... Does the membership renew it's self. And automatically charge me?
-
Sell it. Build what you want.
-
Good to hear. Thanks for the update.

I haven't seen the pistol in person. But my biggest issue is barrel length to size ratio. It seems like you don't get much barrel compared to the slide. Again I haven't seen one one person. Just going by looks.
