  1. If you stick with 5.56 then Radical Firearms has these and should save you some money for the rest of what you need to finish it.   http://www.radicalfirearms.com/16-M4-1-9-Twist-Barrel-p/16m4-1-9.htm
  2. Saw this in my email today. I thought I'd accidentally clicked on the wrong email, never saw this coming. But glad they are!
  3. No tines need be present for my adrenaline to flow lmao! Actually, when tines are present, I think my heart pumps so fast, it times out and stops for a couple seconds
  4. Tomorrow night is the hardest night to go to bed ALL YEAR y'all!!! HHYYYAAWWWW!!!
  5. It looks good to me! I'd get one if had a barrel for my upper already.
  6. Those are awesome! Thanks for sharing. My wife busted out laughing with me at the biscuits in the pocket!
  7. I laid all my different camo out in the yard to take pictures for you to choose from.....now I can't find them    But seriously, I have several different kinds and when I choose one that doesn't exactly match my surroundings I just sit more still lol. Movement and smell as far as deer go are more important. My  :2cents:
  8. Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! You can't say that word around him or he runs to the fridge!! LOL

Judging by "ex stories" we've all dated at least one.....or maybe been one
  10. LOL Not a chance of that, he's getting well taken care of....even if I'm busy! HA HA Thanks, I've posted a few every month or two, didn't wanna post every week even though he seems to change every week to me :)   I appreciate it and trust me, it's an honor taking care of him and seeing him grow. Not that y'all can tell but I LOVE THIS DOG!

  12. Very glad to hear y'all are okay!
  13. Wow, I had to look up your city since I wasn't familiar with it....you are wayyyyyy east! I've hunted as far east as Roane County but that's it. You are way past that. I'm sure it is nice and cool up there.
  14. I'm not sure when they are moving around me to be honest. I don't have a camera up. But they bed not too far behind the property line I hunt and I'm right off of their travel lane. So fingers crossed and praying the cold snap stays like you said!
  15. Yeah, I'm sure he could.   I always looked at it like this: Deer are smart, I see no reason why they wouldn't want to hang with turkeys especially knowing how good they are at knowing when something isn't right. Turkey runs, so does the deer    I keep wagering in my mind which direction the first deer will come out Saturday morning and what it will be. I almost feel like I'm sitting in my stand right now with a breeze in my face, cussing squirrels, and watching little birds swooping through the woods as crows caw from above.  :pleased:
  16. I'm like you, I've heard people argue about whether turkey scare deer or they hang with them. I've seen both ways happen. However, bear and a buck? Never would have thought that!
  17. WOW! That is crazy!
  18. I want to like those Daddy pictures more than once, but it won't let me   Holy crap, as if I didn't have chills enough to get in the woods! DANGIT MAN!
  19. He has that effect!  But I'm not loaning him out at this moment HA HA   Edit: I tried to tell her that he was turning the topsoil to help her flowers....didn't work like I'd planned, go figure
  20. Thanks prag, he really has grown. Each day he thickens up more. He really went through a teenager like growth spurt and got tall and lanky quick. Now he's filling out and getting heavier. And yes, he is a great friend, and I'm so thankful for him. When he gets into the Mrs. flower bed though, they are not the best of friends...for a minute LOL Who can stay mad at that face!??!
  21. Well, Roman is 7 months old now. Took him to the vet, he's healthy as a horse and trying to become one  He weighed in at a healthy 51 pounds and is doing great. Disclaimer: it's not as cute when he flies over the back of the recliner and tries to lay on my neck anymore LMAO!
  22. Welcome to TGO!!
  23. Glad you got it finished without getting hurt. Sometimes the simplest things we did as kids, can get us hurt as adults with a lot longer recovery time.    And no problem on the mug shot, you're right, this close to deer season I'd be more excited about the stand than the super model. Of course, she'd be welcome to come help me hunt Nahhh nevermind, I need to be able to concentrate when I'm hunting HA HA!
  24. Amazing story and human being! Thanks for posting, I hadn't seen that before.
  25. Well, since you said it, I was cringing about the hot rod....till I noticed his legs sticking out the windshield! Holy crap!
