I read this thread earlier today. About 5 minutes ago, one of the guys who works for me in the evening comes up and starts talking. About a minute or two into the conversation he says "Hey! Check out this knife I got for $5!" He pulls it out as I was thinking "That's two $5 knives I've heard about in a day", then I turn around and danged if it wasn't the same knife! :rofl:  I may go pick me up a couple just to throw in the glove boxes of our vehicles. Seem to be pretty sturdy, especially for 5 bucks.

From their front page, guess I should have paid more attention instead of just hitting add to cart. At PSA the difference between their basic lower build kit (with stock and buffer assembly ) and the Magpul version is like $30. They run sales on them all the time.

Good deal, a lot of times you can save money local over the deals online because of the transfer fee. Even if it's the same amount or a couple dollars more, I'll buy local first. You have your LPK or LBK already?

I guess I'm more grumpy over the "can't cancel something we won't start for 3 weeks, but we have your money" thing. Not so much the wait time. I'm sure they are slammed with the pistol/Sign Brace deals they just did. Oh well, I will shoot the upper when it arrives. Kinda wish I'd just order barrels, gas tubes, and gas blocks for the 4 stripped uppers I have sitting in the safe now though.

I reckon I could. I'm very happy with their product and was happy with CS till now. I'll just go back to the tried and true PSA or if I want it shipped quickly, I'll pay a little more like with BCM. Just a lesson learned for me is the way I'm going to look at it.   I just went back and looked at the item on the website and it does have a small note beside it that says "Usually ships in 2-4 weeks" that I didn't see.

I agree. Like with PSA, you already know it won't ship next day. And I'm fine with that.

Actually, it probably does mean I won't buy from them again. :rant:

Okay, so I have a little gripe with them. Not a deal breaker for future purchases but maybe a heads up for anyone ordering one. Just got off the phone to find out if it shipped since my card was charged already. He said they are every bit of 3-4 weeks out on them. I asked "Even the standard uppers?" and he said yes, everything. So I asked him if I could cancel it since it was so far ahead of the time they would even start it and he said no. I mainly ordered from them over PSA assuming it would be ahead of PSA's 2 week shipping standard. I knew it wasn't guaranteed but hell, we cancel stuff for customers all the time at my work. Many times it's already been pulled and ready to ship.   Oh hell, I'll be happy when it gets here, but just kinda rubbed me the wrong way I guess.
