It wouldn't stop me from buying a gun unless it was primarily for home defense and I wanted the light option. Other than that, it's just nice to have.

No stalking, well not planning on it anyway, never know. I'm hunting South Rutherford County in the morning unless it's really coming down. If it's not raining too hard I bought one of those umbrellas you attach above your stand and I'll be in my climber and stick it out all day or till I get something. If it is raining too hard for that, I'm heading to Mt Juliet to hunt out of my pop up blind until it slows down. Then I may bring the blind with me back to the other spot and hunt that evening. 

RIP Jimmy! Got to meet him once at a country music video i danced in. Met him, the Hagar twins, Heath from Richochet, and Carrie Folks (Former Miss TN), and the Indian guy who is in so many country music videos (One with Billy Ray, can't remember the name off top of my head). Fun video and Lil Jimmy was very nice!

I have one AR with the Hogue grip and it has finger grooves, which like you say most don't like. I like it alot. All of the others have Magpul grips on them, the pistol lower has the K+ ( I think) the more vertical grip. Read a lot of people said the more vertical grip would be more comfortable on a pistol AR. But, I still think the Hogue is my favorite, but I like the looks of the grip on R_Bert's so I may give one of them a shot on my next build.   R_Bert I really like that handguard as well!

What grip is that? Larue? I've seen those quite a bit here lately. How do you like it so far compared the the feel of any of the Magpul grips and the Hogue?

Me, the wife, the daughter, the dogs (Riley, Roman, Ruby, and Jake) are all hanging around the house. I plan on hunting in the morning if I feel like getting my rear end out of the warm bed and into the 20 degree weather :)

One of my favorite hunting pictures. This is on Mt Roosevelt in Roane County, my pappaw's old 336 30-30, and the awesome scenery.

That trex board worked out really well. I'm outta shape! I'm still sore from movin that heavy $^#@ with just my buddy and I there. But I think the twisting, leaning, and bending while drilling had something to do with it too. Concrete has been down a long time so it ate through the two bits pretty fast and my heavy duty, high speed only drill helped that bit ruining along as well. Been easier if I'd rented a hammer drill but I didn't. I'm thinking a safe moving company may get called when we move LMAO!
