  1. I’ve been running Blink cameras for a couple of years. Been happy with them for the most part but I have one complaint and it’s an aggravating one. If you get a notification that there was “movement detected” and you pull up that camera, it will not let you “view live” for the time period that it’s recording the next video. It pops up “camera busy” until that video is finished recording. It is wireless so if you have it facing the road and it picks up all the street traffic you will be changing batteries more often. You can also block out the zones the the road is in so that helps. I always use Energizer lithium batteries for these cameras. I recently ordered a Wyze cam V3 (not wireless) and have the cord running through edge my garage door opening. It has been great so far. Read different reviews on the wireless version but they weren’t horrible so I’m not saying to not get them either. Setup was easy and it takes good videos. I think I paid $20 for the year for CamPlus feature which gives full length recording instead of 12 seconds and will pick up only people if you choose to set it that way. You get a free trial of this CamPlus service and don’t have to pay for the extra, but I do recommend it. Being a wired camera is a little more involved for setup on the walls but it’s nice knowing I won’t have to keep climbing a ladder to change the batteries. To me I always feel like I’m grabbing the attention of everyone who drives by while I’m changing the Blink camera batteries. Wyze so far has been much more impressive to me but I’m using both setups. I’ll eventually move to only Wyze I’d imagine.
  2. Very nice! Had a chance to shoot it yet?

    Happy!!

Same to you Bersaguy. And like gregintenn said, this weather is perfect. Heading out today and tomorrow to do some shooting and help a new shooter with his new AR. Everyone be safe and have a great one.
  4. Sounds like a good time. Been a long time since I’ve been to anything like that but I have always enjoyed some bluegrass music.
  5. Congratulations! That’s a nice buck!
  6. Been curious myself what the current wait times are right now.
  7. Wow! Not that much surprises me anymore these days but how did he plan on that working out? Well, I guess that would require him thinking to begin with huh?
  8. I might go Sunday.
  9. Money comes in to play for sure when it comes to what you “need”. Range toy or something you can depend on if situation is serious. For more budget friendly options but not crap optics I’d recommend: Primary Arms red dots Vortex Sparc Holosun Sig Romeo 5 (my fav in budget pick) More money but better quality: Eotech (multiple choices) Trijicon MRO
  10. It’s in Cookeville but this is who I’m taking my REM 700 to. Getting the barrel threaded and have heard great stuff about them. http://www.bugholes.com/articles.asp?ID=83
  11. I’ve got the Sightmark Wraith HD and I love it. Most people upgrade the IR when they get them but it’s fine for me for now. Coming in around $500 it’s a nice entry level that doesn’t hurt the pocketbook too awfully bad. They have a 4K version out now that’s a few hundred dollars more I believe. It’s usable in daylight as well so you can video you’re hunts even if we don’t have legal night hunting yet.
  12. I picked these up from Academy Sports three years ago and I love them! Didn’t have a break in period, and wearing very well. https://www.academy.com/shop/pdp/magellan-m-landman-20-snake-boot
  13. Smyrna report as of 7:54 roads are completely sheeted with ice on side streets around me. Haven’t been on main roads since about 5pm when they were okay to drive on. A lot has changed just with temp drop since then.
  14. I’ve got one but have only used it a handful of times for charging my phone while hunting all day sits when needed. Don’t think I have enough time with it to offer much of a review for you, but so far I’m happy with it.
  15. Wow! That’s a big son of a gun!! Congratulations!
  16. I went with the XS big dot on my Rem 870 and I am happy with it. I reckon replacing the barrel isn’t quite that big of a deal to me should I ever have to. However for my coyote shotgun (Tristar Viper G2) I’ve been thinking about trying a red dot on it. Not much help for your question maybe but thought I’d share what I’ve done just in case it does.
  17. Thanks for sharing!
  18. Happy New Year to all of you!
  19. Doesn’t give me a good feeling about spending my money and hoping something ships.
  20. Savage 110 Tactical Desert in 6.5 Creed. I added the extra camo to it myself because I didn’t like the solid FDE as much as most people do.
  21. My muzzleloader buck And this buck I got yesterday with my 6.5 finished out my season unless I take a doe for extra meat in the freezer. Now after the coyotes and bobcats I go! Hope everyone had a good and safe season and good luck to those still chasing them.
  22. I was in there Sunday and it was Wolf steel case that I saw. High as heck but at least it was there if someone was out of ammo completely.
  23. Hope you have a quick recovery!!
  24. That’ll be far enough pilgrim!! I love that movie!!
