  1. I actually watched a few videos last night on that very thing after she went to bed. Done very similar just a lot more cord to deal with and more time. We made two bracelets each and a couple of key chains. I remember looking at those bracelets before and thinking "How in the hell do they do that!?" but it's pretty simple once you get the rhythm going.
  2. So my daughter and I made survival bracelets for the first time ever last night. It was really fun and we want to try some more projects. Can't believe I haven't made anything with them until now. I know you can buy this at gun shows and some gun stores, but is there an online store that y'all use most of the time? Looking to buy a few spools so we can try some new projects with it.
  3. I want to do one like that. All the ones I've build have been flat tops but I want an old school one in the collection.
  4. Snapped a few pictures while the youngins were playin outside. Thought this grill shot was pretty cool! I'm always amazed at how pretty the trees are covered with ice. Even though it usually comes with trouble as far as power lines go. Trampoline net was solid ice Top of the tool box was about 3/4 inch of ice. Cool shot of the bird feeder. I didn't even try to fill it once they emptied what I filled the night before. I dumped about 15 pounds of feed on the back deck a couple pounds at a time today and the birds were loving it! Ice height on the deck rail My daughter's rose bush tried to hold up the weight but all branches weren't strong enough and were laying on the ground. Thought this was a neat angle picture. Our little tree and the neighbor's in the background covered in ice. My mud puddle that was frozen over till I busted through it with the truck to take the youngins for some fishtailing on the back roads.
  5. I agree a million percent. Bad thing is, they will still sell at that price, I mean gang bangers have an endless supply of money and less pressure against their crime than us law abiding citizens

    Real Snow

I had over half inch of ice on my truck this morning. Took a while to clean it off, but was worth it to run to the store down the roads for a little slippin and slidin!

    Real Snow

Anyone out in western part of TN getting snow yet?
  8. http://www.cheaperthandirt.com/product/8-DKG-A5569   Not like any of us expected any less, but the $&(*&@(!'s did it again. But on all of it, not just M855. They literally make me sick  :puke:

    Real Snow

Whether we get sleet and 1/2 inch of snow or 7 inches of snow, be careful on your trip.
  10. I finally got to get my hands on them at the Nashville gun show last weekend. They are pretty nice! Thanks for the feedback, now I just have to order one or two.
  11. Yep, peanut butter flavor, takes after his Dad! Lol
  12. He had a pretty good birthday, my daughter and I took him to TSC and everyone we seen just had a fit over him. He was a little skiddish at first since he's not around strangers that much but everyone put out their hands first and let him smell them so he was loving on them like crazy after that :)

    Real Snow

I had a blast during that storm! Me and a buddy jumped in my K5, 39.5 TSL'S with about 15 lbs of air in the tires and a couple chains threw in the floorboard. We drove around pulling people back on the road all day long, chaw of Red Man in, Willie Nelson on the radio, and never charged or took a dime for our help. That was a FUN couple of days. Sam Ridley exit kept us busy for hours lol
  14. Happy Birthday Roman, he is one today!

    Real Snow

I'm looking forward to it, I actually hope they under-estimated it!
  16. Same here! LOL I'd be passed out about 30 minutes after shots like that, and I mean the liquor not the shots to the head.

    ...

I finally bought a PTAC upper, but haven't got to the range to try it out. But I'll say, it looks pretty nice for $200 shipped. If I could only have one AR I would probably get a nicer one, but I have several and this will just be a range/target rifle and will probably outlast me since I won't shoot it every weekend.
  18. I got time to mess around in the garage when I got home tonight, so I put the trigger guard on. It really just looks like sharp edges in pictures in the link, but is actually really smooth on the edges. Pretty dang nice for $13 I'd say. Here are a few pictures.
  19. That is extremely nice work!
  20. If you were wearing an anti-NRA shirt and this happened, (judging by the description) I'd say you met Rosie O'Donnell in that parking lot! But like David said, I would love to trust that anyone approaching me would have good intentions, but these days it would end with hurt feelings for the stranger.
  21. When I opened it, I didn't notice them being sharp as they looked, because I thought the same thing. I'm not buying more until I run this one for a while. I still really like the Seekins alot, juse more money though.
  22. I've got a couple billet lowers with oversized trigger guards made into them, and also have quite a few Magpul polymer oversized ones. I found this one while browsing for a Seekins Precision. It's at the house now and will go on my Spartan lower that I'm picking up in the morning. I'll post pics when it's on, but for the price I think it's hard to beat. Just curious what y'all like best, SP, Troy, Magpul aluminum, etc?   http://www.ebay.com/itm/Black-Rifle-Tactical-Aluminum-Enhanced-Winter-Trigger-Guard-BLACK-/141488477783
  23. I just got two TGO decals in the mail that I didn't order, wonder who these belong to? Just kidding!!
  24. Thanks, yours looks good too. Mine was neither beat up nor safe queen, it got used, but still looked really good. Just decided I wanted to try it. I probably won't paint all the ones I have now, but most will be. Still haven't tried the sponge method but I may on the next paint job.
