  1. Happy Easter y'all!
  2.     THAT would have made sense! I started at what I thought it would be set at (remember I'm a short shootin' rookie) 20 yards, then 25, then 30, and thought "Really?" ha ha. Put it at 40 and dead on.  I guess he could have aimed or shot different than I do thus having a different POI?
  3. Thanks Slappy! Got a chance to shoot it about a dozen times yesterday, feels good but he had his first pin set at 40 yds. I'm going to reset the pins because my farthest shot will probably be 50. No big deal, just more practice
  4. Thanks DixieDawg!
  5. A co-worker made me a HELL of a deal on this bow, simply because he was tired of it not getting used with so little time to hunt. It was basically sitting on a shelf most of the time he's owned it and is like brand new. The only think I could find wrong is the small rubber tube that keeps the peep site aligned is dry rotted and I will replace it. It's a PSE Triton and while not the fastest and lightest produced today, it's a HUGE improvement over my old, heavy Alpine Archery bow. It's much shorter than my Alpine and I will like that in the blind and deer stand. I am in love y'all!
  6. Well, I got my money's worth out of two Fossil watches (15 years+) and needed a new one. I've never owned a G-Shock, last Casio I owned had a little calculator with keys on the face :) Anyway, picked up a GWM500A-1 and after reading the little book, have the basics figured out (I think). If I can't figure it out, I'll let my 10 year old play with it for 5 minutes and she'll be able to help me  But it seems really nice, and I liked the band on this one more than the cheaper ones. Although I haven't used a non-metal with folding clasp since I was in high school. I'm loving it already!
  7. Keeping y'all in my prayers!
  8. Nice!! I'm still saving for my reloading setup!
  9. Sorry to hear this, praying for you and your family
  10. You must live in a patch of redwoods
  11. Yep, song has been in my head all day since you posted it, and I'm still singing it lol
  12. I could possibly make it. Let me know if y'all figure out Saturday or Sunday and a time.
  13. Thank you Sir!
  14.   That could be, I never looked into it.
  15. It came with the Radical Firearms upper.
  16. Here's another one done. Outbreak Ordnance billet lower, PSA kit with the ALG QMS trigger/hammer kit with Seekins Precision mag release and bolt catch, and Magpul stock and grip. Radical Firearms upper with BCM Mod 4 charging handle. I really, really love the looks of this lower. I am very happy with the trigger even though it's not a 3.5 lb trigger, it's clean and smooth break at what should be about 5.5 or 6 lbs is a nice change from mil-spec trigger grit. Anyway, here are a few pictures. Sorry, I'm not using a fancy camera, just my cell phone but pictures turned out okay to show the profile and detail of the lower.
  17. I went to Murfreesboro DMV on the 9th of this month to fill out a renewal for in person. Got it in the mail today. Pretty fast turnaround
  18. I think he meant out of the high crime area?
  19. Nice!! Congrats, like to do the same someday.
