  1. Yessir! Seen it happen hundreds of times since I've been here.
  2. Thanks 1fast4by! I can't even tell you how nervous I was when I pulled out of the driveway. I made it back from the store. Took the long route around Smyrna to see how it did. I'm so happy right now!
  3. Update guys: I went to O'Reilly this morning, the first chance I've had since the tow. Picked up the VSS for 90 bucks. I had a little sticker shock since it's the size of a spark plug. But it's not the price of a rebuild so I'm good with that. Jacked up the truck, changed it out and dropped back on its tires. Drive around the neighborhood one time and it shifted every single gear as it should!!! Now I'm not counting ALL my chickens as I haven't fully tested it. But I'm very happy, said my thank you prayer and I'm off to drive it back to O'Reilly for some windshield wiper blades. It's a road test and also my passenger blade looks like I'm fishing for bass. Thanks so much for everyone's help and I'll post back up after the road trip!
  4. I received my corrected stamp today with the DRAFT Watermark removed. That was pretty fast response time!
  5. I can't say 100% but I want to say the Anderson without integrated trigger guard was $49, and with were $59 before tax and bc. For some reason I think the Aero and Spikes were $89 + tax and bc.
  6. Wow! That's is a heck of a view!
  7. Thanks Bersa, I appreciate it. I agree with you as well. I definitely feel better than I did this morning when I thought it had blown up. Of course sometimes chasing electrical issues can be more of a pain than just rebuilding.
  8. Good deal, was hoping I didn't sound like a smartass. Thanks for the offer as well. I think I may try to swap out the VSS myself since it's easy and cheap and see if that fixes anything, then go from there. The truck is in really good shape and is worth putting the money I to fixing. If it was junk I'd trash it and start over.
  9. All this computer crap is Greek to me, so everything I posted is either what happened to me or what I read on forums trying to soak up information. I'm not trying to correct anyone, I'm asking. So hope you didn't take it as me saying "Nope, this right" because I don't have a clue. I'm sure missing square body's and 500 dollar rebuilds right now. I've heard issues being VSS, wiring to VSS, ignition, ground wire, brake fuse, and ten other things I can't remember. I'm still soaking in that the speedometer can cause my trans to not shift lol. Anyway, thanks for everyone's help and suggestions, I really do appreciate them.
  10. I read that 95 has PCM not a TCM or ECM. I am thinking this diagnosis is above my head and will probably take it to a shop to check issues before dropping 2,000 or complete rebuild. VSS seems to have been a lot of guys issue so may try that first
  11. Well, I got my first NFA stamp yesterday so a kick in the nuts was necessary after the high I was on I guess. Pulled out of my wife's work this morning after a normal drive of 15 miles with everything fine. Wouldn't shift out of 1st gear. Pulled over turned off key, restarted and manually shifted to 2nd but would not go to 3rd or OD. Also speedometer staying on zero?
  12. I also had the DRAFT watermark on my paperwork. I sent an email asking for a corrected one as mentioned earlier in this thread.
  13. Good deal! My buddy did his same day, got his email an hour after mine but not approved and refund began. Put something in wrong field I believe. He's pretty down about starting all over again! Edit: Just figured out what he did. He put MK18 as model number instead of "M4 carbine". It doesn't say the word "model" or "mod" in front of M4 carbine. So that's where he messed up and hopefully if any of y'all sbr a DD in the future his mistake may dave you having to resubmit.
  14. I'm so happy I could jump the Grand Canyon! Form 1 SBR submitted on Jan 6 Approved today, April 12
  15. Guns N More (vendor on TGO) almost always has them in stock. Anderson, Aero Precision, and Spikes Tactical.
  16. That's pretty cool right there!
  17. I'll be ordering one as soon as my other TGO set is done. I have a PSA upper on another rifle with a fsb that I want to put this rail on.
  18.   Anytime! Post it up when you get it put together
  19.   I hope my original post didn't come across as though I was offended or mad that he thought it was something else. If it did, that's my fault for not explaining correctly. I was just caught off guard since I'd never associated the skull with the marvel hero.   P.S. Shatner didn't need lines, women loved him anyway Lol
  20. http://www.primaryarms.com/midwest-industries-2-piece-drop-in-keymod-handguard-gen-2-mid-length-black/p/kt-mi-18k/ Midwest makes this one, but doesn't extend past fsb. Nice little drop in though

  24. Yep, same here! I flash back to riding in my Dad's old trucks. They always had a Ruger sticker and an NRA sticker on the glass. As Archie and Edith would sing "Those were the days!"
  25. It's actually the one sticker I may leave on the back glass. I hate to take off the other ones but feel I'm doing myself a justice by removing them in the long run.
