  1. Thank you!
  2. I picked up a 2nd TGO set a year ago or so and wanted to build it different with a longer barrel. I built the lower not long after I bought them but the upper has been on the back burner due to wanting to sbr the other TGO set and buy an Omega suppressor. Since I've finished those two items off the "want/need" list I got started on this again. So before I continue with the build list, the first thing most of you should notice is the birdcage isn't timed. I'm puttin an Odin Works comp on this rifle until my Omega gets out of jail, so the A2 is just there to protect the threads and only had a used crush washer. Pains me to see it on this rifle but I had to do with what I had. CMT TGO receivers CMMG lower parts kit with trigger soon to be replaced with ALG ACT Magpul MOE+ grip and Moe stock Geissele Mk8 13" Mlok rail Seekins Precision bolt catch and mag release BCM bolt carrier group, Mod 3 charging handle, and buffer tube assembly Ballistic Advantage Hanson 18" barrel with pinned gas block (waiting on Odin comp) A.R.M.S. 30mm qd rings Optics ?? Thinking something along the lines of 4-12ish in probably Vortex? BUIS- Troy Battlesights will be my choice

    Range 15

I'll be there, but at the very last minute. I don't get out of work until a few minutes after 7 and will have to pray for no traffic to make it before the credits.
  5. Looks good brother!
  6. Everything Weapons I believe has them
  7. That's the same video I used
  8. I got most of my answers here on TGO from members who'd already done it. There's a lot of info in the NFA forum that helped me. I did a .300 blk SBR as well, but on a trust not individual so I can't help much with that part. I did my engraving at All Things Engraved in Cool Springs before I did the Efile so it would be ready to go once my stamp came in. There are quite a few videos on YouTube about the process as well. If you have specific questions now, I'm sure all of them can be answered by a member or members here so ask away.
  9. All this talk about the 30-30 is making me want to get the old 336 out and head to the range! But for me, 5.56 in the truck in 16 inch rifle form or 10.5 inch pistol. Plus my 30-30 was passed down to me from my Pappaw so I can easily replace the AR platform but cannot replace history or sentimental value.
  10. Make sure and show it off here when you get done.
  11. Very nice rifle!
  12. Did you ever work up the nerve to give it a shot? I need to do another update with pictures on how the S&W camo has held up. I'll try to do that soon. I'm really surprised that the paint has held up so well with the use it gets. The other two have only been to the range a few times so they still look new, going to have to work on that haha.
  13. Cool idea!
  14. I went with the Omega as well. The Specwar is what I'd originally thought I'd get, but went with the lighter, shorter Omega. It's still in jail but every review I've read about them has been excellent.
  15. Congratulations! Have fun
  16. Well, I only had 40 rounds of .300 blk, but I got it sighted in and everything worked flawlessly! Then I put the 5.56 upper on and really had some fun, so did everyone with me haha. No more holding the buffer tube to my check Did some shooting with the Guns N More crew as well, good to see y'all and thanks for letting me shoot your stuff too!
  17. Thank you! It's in the bag and I'm getting ready to go shoot it for the first time. Be nice when my can is here so I can slap it on the end
  18. That's actually why I was up there. I had a $50 gift card. Walked out with the rail and HSS for $129! Also, I received an email when I pulled into Bass Pro with a coupon for $10 off $40 purchase so that was applied also.
  19. It's a fixed Daniel Defense. I have the matching front sight as well but just threw it on that upper. Thanks, I like it too. I have another build started with OD green on it too. Haven't ventured down the FDE path like most people but may some day. Thanks Wingshooter! It's really a nice handguard. I picked it up at Bass Pro today. It was on their clearance rack!! Originally $169 marked down to $109. I snatched that thing like it was the last biscuit! Oh hey, if you get out this way, they so had Hunter Safety System harnesses for $59. I picked up one and there are 2 left. That's freaking cheap.
  20. Thanks! I've just been staring at it for the past few hours after I got the rail and Sparc mounted!
  21. I've had this done for a while but been bitten by the suppressor bug so my poor little sbr has been neglected haha. CMT TGO billet upper and lower, PSA premium bcg, BCM Mod 4 charging handle, ALG QMS trigger, Seekins Precision stainless match .300 blk barrel, Seekins Precision bolt catch and mag release, Samson Evo 9 inch rail, DoubleStar adjustable gas block, SilencerCo ASR muzzle brake (waiting on Omega to get out of jail), Magpul CTR stock, Hogue grip, Vortex Sparc 2, and Magpul ASAP. I think that's everything. I have a set of QD 30mm A.R.M.S. mounts just waiting for a good scope. My wallets just waiting for the money to buy said scope. Well, here it is. And the last picture is with my 5.56 upper that's usually on my pistol lower. I'm heading out to OK Corral tomorrow with some friends to run them along with my new Glock 19, and another AR build that I haven't fired yet.
  22. I'm so excited I'm gonna pack this weekend
