  1. Nice! Looks pretty stout. Fit your hand good?
  2. Yep, told me the same thing. Said some get pissed off if there is no ammo on that shipment. If they are reselling it and don't use it, then I'm glad they wasted that hour.
  3. That is awesome!!!
  4. And all while under the influence....maybe the gun made him do it....eeeeeeeevil !!!!
  5. I went in there about 9 am one day last week and they had a little bit of everything except .22 at the counter. I grabbed one box each of .45 and .40 and 9mm. A couple of my buddies at work keep telling me, "Let me know if you see any ammo in stock" so I told them when I got to work in case one or two of them wanted to run down on their lunch to grab a box for the range. Not one of them went. So, it must not have sunk in to them how hard it is to find, so I'm done giving them any info. They gripe about not being able to go to the range but don't want to look for it themselves. Hell, we all hate the situation, but until this crap is over, it takes a little effort and no hesitation when you get lucky and find it. Or you can pay .80 per round on Armslist if you want to do it the easy way lol. Not me! :)
  6. Never had a problem with it at all. Just bought some more in .40 and hope to shoot some up this Sunday.
  7. Nice, congratulations!
  8. Wow, glad y'all are ok
  9.     That would explain a lot. I'm sure this is going on at a lot of them, and a lot of fellow members here have been saying they thought the same about their local Wal-Mart. For me, I don't live that far from Wal-Mart, it's the other side of town, but for people that live in rural areas have to drive 10-15 miles to come check on ammo, that's a lot of gas wasted for nothing. And these guys clean out the shelves and don't even want it, then expect you to feel sorry for them for their time and gas when they could've left the *$%! ammo on the shelf since they knew they weren't going to need it, and let those in need have a shot!
  10. I don't know but I've been in there looking at empty shelves the last 10 or so times I've went looking for ammo. Guess someone has the connection at this Walmart too, like some of the other locations. Its irritating.
  11. I noticed in Academy today, they have sling attachments made for the 10/22. May have to get that, my lil girl wants a sling because Daddy has one :)
  12. That would be a big meal! Hope it was worth it. I could understand having a few over the limit but 400 fish? Crazy. Edit** I mean I could understand them having a few over because of not knowing or forgetting the limit, but like everything else, we are responsible for knowing.

    My new AR

I imagine you are pretty stoked. My first AR was a M&P15OR and I was jumping up and down. I couldn't imagine walking in my door with one like yours, I'd probably just sit and stare at it for a while haha. Enjoy running some ammo down that barrel!!
