My daughter was in the parade with her dance class, and my wife walked with them. It was a really great time. Stayed away from the carnival afterwards, too many people, but it was beautiful outside and couldn't pick a better day for a parade. For those who are not aware of the festival, it's in LaVergne. They always have a great turn out, check them out tomorrow or next year.

Well, I got my new ladder stand put up today, thanks to the help of my friend who is hunting the same property. Sure would have taken longer by myself. Had the stand itself already together so that saved time too. Cleaned out some shooting lanes, measured some distances and marked them, and just sat in it for a little while soaking it all in. 2 WEEKS!!!! AGHHHHHHH! My daughter is 9 and is interested in starting to shoot bows. This really excites me and I want her to learn. I'd like to get her in a class to learn with kids close to her age. I'm new to bows myself so would like her to learn things that I may forget (or don't know) and for it to be fun to her also. A friend of mine is in the same situation with his daughter, so we may sign them both up. Do any of y'all know anywhere that might do this? I'm in Smyrna, so somewhere kind of close would be nice.
