Wow! Last year I had a HUGE owl flying through the trees for about an hour. Kind of forgot about him and turned around to find him sitting on a branch about 10 feet in front of me at eye level! He just stared at me for about 20 minutes. At first I thought "How cool is this!" Then I started thinking, "Is he sizing me up!?!?" HA HA Guess he may have been. If I hadn't been chewing on a chicken leg, he might have thought me a formidable opponent :rofl:   (The last sentence was made up obviously lol)

If I had the extra money, it would definitely be in my driveway. It looks good in the pictures, but they don't do it justice. Seriously. When he starts it up, it's so deep, and the cam lope, it's a beautiful thing. They guy who built the motor really knows what he is doing.

Sorry Dave, I was reading this on my phone last night and didn't notice you'd said borax AFTER you said submerge it in the water. I was thinking you meant to soak it in the borax like you would the salt, and take it out of there and then boil it. But this morning I noticed I just misread it. Appreciate the advice!

I am curious as to what you guys' favorite method is for this. I recently heard a new way, the guy said he picks as much meat off as he can and then sets it in a bucket with non-iodized salt. Also know about the boiling method, but gonna have to do that outside, the wife probably won't be pleased smelling or seeing it on the stove. I'm sure there are ways y'all do it that I haven't heard of, so fire away. Thanks.
