I obviously couldn't drive up to Clarksville every weekend but it would still be worth it. Probably covered in deer since it's been sitting unhunted for so long. Have fun checking it out.

I was in the stand at 5:15, started snowing shortly after daybreak. I saw absolutely nothing. Came out at 10:15 and the whole way home, all the usual places I always see deer, nothing. I figured the rain yesterday would  have them really active this morning. If they were, it wasn't where I'm hunting lol.

Anyone else got a big day of hunting planned tomorrow? Gonna be nice and chilly, so I can't wait to get up in the morning. I'm crossing my fingers that all the rain has had them bedded down and in the morning they will really be moving. Has anyone seen anymore sign of bucks running does? Seems that it's pretty much over, but I'm still holding out for a nice buck just strolling around.

Or have all the TGO members at your house cleaning all of their guns too, and THEN invite them over!   TDR, so glad she was found soon, not as soon as you'd liked, but I know that was a relief when she was finally home. And as everyone else said, you are to be commended for your self control and the way you handled it. Everyone here was worried with you and they spreading of information through media and emails was awesome and another reason to love this group of people on this forum!!

Well, go figure, saw deer today in the dadgum wind! It was blowing like crazy too. Three does, one big one and two small ones. Didn't have a safe shot where the came out though so going home empty handed but it was exciting!
