  1. Oh my gosh, that looks GOOOOOOOD!!!!
  2. Of course it is!
  3. If Christmas presents hadn't depleted me, I'd buy one just for a backup or next AR build. Thanks for posting!
  4. Thanks Batman, I appreciate it.
  5. LMAO!!
  6. Only if its been expired for six months, she just can't carry until her new one comes in
  7. That would have been perfect for this truck! Maybe he can run up on another on like this. They aren't for sale like they were when I started messing with 4x4's but there is occasionally an old 3/4 ton farm truck on Craigslist. After several years of tearing out 10 bolts, I swapped in 3/4 ton axles and did that to every single truck/blazer I had. Nice upgrade.
  8. I just mailed off my wife's renewal yesterday, it's already expired though. Hope it comes back quickly so she can carry again! Glad to hear yours went well.
  9. Glad everything went good!! Prayers still for a quick recovery!
  10. Does anywhere local carry the Fenix line or only online?
  11. Thanks KaNuckles!   Hell right now, I'm looking forward to shooting it at a zombie paper target! HA HA I'm really itching to shoot it. I've had 500's and one other 870 but always with long barrels, this is my first 18.5 inch.
  12. Yes, I definitely want strobe capability and want it to be on the first touch, not somewhere between hi and two other low lights or whatever.
  13. Lmao! If his truck didn't look so good I would've said the same thing. And +1 on Randys!
  14. I agree.
  15. Oh, and I'm just speaking from experience, but if you go 35's go with a 6" unless it will not be going offroad/ditches/etc. I know a lot of people put 35's on with 4" lift (I have too) but unless you don't care about front fenders bending, you may bind up. 4" with 33's is perfect setup if you go that route.
  16. Been there done that. Nowadays, I have to decide if it's worth all the trouble...and money ha ha.
  17. You can order the gears through most any place online, 4 Wheel Parts, Summit,Jegs, etc. You will need deeper gears if it's an automatic than if it is manual shift. With an automatic and 33's you'd probably want 4.10 and with 35's probably 4.56 and that's assuming it's an auto with O/D. If it's a manual you could drop each of those suggestions down one selection, numerically speaking. For example 33's you'd use 3.73 and for 35's use 4.10. Having the correct gears with the big tires will be important in making it "wake up" since you don't have a powerhouse motor in there. Oh, and nice truck by the way, I LOVE the old square bodies. I may even have some stuff laying around you might be able to use, I'll check the garage.
  18. Automatic?
  19. Update already, I bought that light mount and S&W flashlight at Academy the day I got the shotgun. I didn't really care for either one, so I took them back. Looking at either Surefire or Fenix and will get a mount that tightens using hex key vs twist and push shut. I've been reading through some of the flashlight threads on here and y'all spit out models like it's the abc's. That just means I haven't been into flashlights as much as I should be and am WAY behind!  I'm going to get more informed on them and am thankful again for this community right here for all of the reviews which should help tremendously! Definitely getting the xs big dot, and am looking at Magpul stock and forend (for later) and need to get some kind of sling for it as well.
  20. Very nice, congrats!
  21. Good deal, thanks.
  22. Probably magnified optic, I'm not even sure I'm going with anything besides the bead. I have tons of ideas going through my head but don't want to make impulse decisions on something I won't want or need. I will only use the scope during deer season if I put it on there, other than that, it will be for HD.
  23. I just checked out those xs big dots, they looked nice. So you like it a lot better?
  24. I wouldn't care if I'd seen bucks all year, I would be proud of that buck and telling EVERYONE about it! I've never killed what most people think is a huge buck. Hope to one day, but even my small 6 pointers have made me feel like a King Hunter!
