Wow, that's amazing!!!

Definitely suspicious Erik, glad it didn't turn out to be more serious. I made a similar mistake several years ago. My wife, daughter, and I were all asleep in the apartment. A knock on the door and I opened it, my pistol laying on the coffee table, and found a HUGE black man in his late teens/early 20's holding magazines. I had no shirt on, and was a big time weight lifter then so I had muscles everywhere that I have extra cushion now. That may have been the only reason he only made me tell him "No thanks" twice (2nd time not so nice) and walked on. Maybe 30 minutes later, cops are everywhere in the circle drive and seems this big piece of $&#*@! decided that an elderly man several buildings down was an easier target and shoved his way in the house and beat him. I'm assuming to rob and run, but seems the old guy fought back so he didn't get anything. I was really hoping I'd find that slime walking down a dark road in the following weeks, I'd loved to have gave him a fair fight! I've always been suspicious of uninvited visitors, but let me tell you, that really pissed me off and set me at a much higher level of alertness. Now I'm like you were, pistol always on my side, in my hand at the door, and watching everything. 

I was planning on hunting in the morning, but if the forecast is correct, it looks like rain till noonish  :down:

Holy crap! What a FUN day at the range!!!  :rock:     Went through 100 rounds of 12 gauge (each of us) on targets, water and milk jugs, old cans that other people had left in the pit, and used slugs on a few.  We were there almost 4 hours, shot some pistols as well and a couple of really cool guys came down to the pit and we shot some of their neat toys too. The were both in the military and we thanked them for their service and for the company at the range. It was a REALLY good day! The 870 performed flawlessly as I expected.  Now I'm home and my xs big dot was in the mail box, so headed out to get some JB Weld and put'r on.

I've been begging to go up and meet him and shoot with him but hasn't worked out yet, but maybe one day. When he told me today I said "I was just watching his videos last night learning and laughing at the same time, had no idea he was in the hospital sick!" Really hope he's okay and back out doing what he loves, shooting and teaching. Thanks for the prayers for him and his family, I'm sure they will appreciate it.

Not sure if you guys ever watch this guy, but I have loved his videos both serious ones and funny ones for years. Didn't know until after I'd been watching him for a couple of years that my Operations Manager is his brother. He does a lot of work with Hickok45 too. Anyway, his brother told me today that he is extremely sick, pneumonia I believe. So keep him in your prayers if you don't mind.

Who put the &#+!?!?!+@&# heater core in the most ridiculous spot on a vehicle and thought it was a good idea???

Well the design of transportation took it from LaVergne back Nashville Grrrr so I didn't get the sight today. But went to Academy and bought 300 rounds and a sling/sling mounts for it. Going to O.K. Corral in the morning. Look for the 13 or 14 year old FSU hat and that'll be me :)

The guy at Smyrna Wm said when the management wanted the space for something else, they would probably mark them down more. I was gonna tell him to mark them down to make room for more ammo.....lol....nevermind!

H problem, I've been running around like crazy too. But hey, if something crazy doesn't happen today to force us into working tomorrow, we are going to be at O. K. in the morning when they open. I will text you later when I know for sure.
