  1. Nope! I'm hoping to shoot it this weekend if I get time. But it's laying right here in front of me on the table with 4 loaded mags....Just so I can stare at it!
  2. I'm with ya on the .40! Crazyness in the ballistic gel video, can't wait to see more.
  3. Luke, AWESOME pics! I know that was fun, glad you were able to partake in it and share the pictures with us!! Thanks for posting them up.
  4. I'm certain the next pistol I buy will be a Glock 19.
  5. Just saw that on Facebook. Dang, what a nasty mess that would make.
  6. That's my way of thinking too. And yes, that's factory. Even the AAC with threaded barrel has the Hogue overmold stock. Speaking of the AAC, they had one in stock at Outpost and SWEETNESS!!
  7. Lol You got me for a minute. I was thinking "I could swear I've heard him talking about Glock dependability" haha
  8. Just got the same gun. You can check out my thread in Show and Tell if you want to. People giving me advice in there on the same question. Congrats, I'm loving mine!
  9. Well I went to Outpost Armory today and picked up this Talley rail and Leupold PRW medium rings. They have four bolts/screws per mount. I REALLY liked the Talley tactical rings ($149) but nicely enough they guy was not trying to shove the more expensive rings on me. He said for the scope I have now and my use of the gun, these Leupold were more than enough unless I just wanted the Talley's.
  10. Bought my first new Glock magazine today :) I don't even know how it happened. Got to the counter with 9mm ammo for the wife and the mag was in my hand
  11. Welcome to TGO!
  12. Planning on doing that. I have it out of the box, I have it loaded, now I just have to go!
  13. Good to know. I'd also like to get a 9mm barrel and mag. I didn't know you could swap them in like on my M&P. Guess Glocks had that available before the M&P was even introduced, but never owning one I had no idea. Only problem with that is, my wife may not let me shoot any of her 9mm ammo.....even though I bought all of it for her
  14. Okay, that's what I was thinking, I thought he meant for left handers (release on right side). Making sure I didn't have it backwards. Thanks Jose.
  15. Thanks for the info DD!
  16. Did you mean Gen 4s only work for right hand release?
  17. LMAO!!!!!
  18. Yep, Lord knows they are dependable. I already have a .40 pistol so at least I didn't add another caliber to the list of things to pick up at the gun shop when buying ammo. Hope you get yours added as well Tedro.
  19. Yes it is. I'm glad you brought that up! It is my first Glock so I was wanting to know the scoop on mag Gen to Gen, if they mixed, or were Gen specific.
  20. Maybe I should have called you and bought one of yours and you wouldn't have to "not like" so many of them HA HA   I have a feeling if I want to shoot it, I'm gonna have to buy her one soon!
  21. Both. It will definitely be used for deer, coyotes, etc. But I want to shoot some long range, when I get the chance. Haven't seen the EGW but will check them out. And I've heard good things about the Burris XTR rings. I've spent a lot of money this week and can't just keep spending but I'd rather buy once, cry once. And I agree about shooting before making up my mind about replacing the stock. I've read where some people actually had pretty good accuracy with the Hogue. If it shoots good, the stock will wait till I'm bored, or the accuracy changes. Yeah, the Atlas bipods made me smile real big too, but I've always been happy with Harris quality, so that's probably the direction I'll go. Save that extra money for ammo.
  22. Yep, in love already. Years and years ago, I picked up a few Glocks, thought they were black 2x4's and never got interested. I respected the name just because of reviews, just didn't like the feel. Recently checked out my friends Gen 4 Glock 23 and really liked it. I started looking at new ones, then used ones, and comparing my options. I ran across a good deal today on a used one and bought it from a guy who is not on here, but I invited him. I think he will fit in great and love the community as we all do. So anyway, the one thing I wasn't sure about was the fact that he'd polished the slide and barrel. I was afraid it would look chrome-ish. But it actually looks pretty good. Still debating on whether it will stay that way or get cerakoted, refinished through Glock, or something else. It's kinda slick, but looks good. I also got 3 mags, two holsters, and 100 rounds of ammo. Bad news....My wife likes it more than I hoped she would so I may not even get to give a range report
  23. Nice!!!
  24. I'd paint them like candy corn!
  25. ^^^ That looks REALLY nice!
