  1. That's what I was afraid of
  2. Crap! I forgot!! Can ya tell I should still be asleep? Sounds like you made a good decision, get some rest brother. Don't be driving that tired. Y'all be safe and have a good trip back. We'll get down there one weekend...OK Corral, not NYC! LMAO! I'm with you on disliking big crowds, but also, gotta help out the family when they need it. Talk to you soon Luke.
  3. LMAO! It was good to meet you too. My skill level is lacking since I don't think I could make that shot! HA HA I may go to OK Corral tomorrow if I can get some things done around the house in the morning. If I do head out there, I'll call you.
  4. I bought a used Black Knight (the original one so it's the older design) and it was still loaded. It's been that way for a couple of years I was told. Would it be safe to put a primer in and shoot it since it's been that long or is there a way to pull the bullet out safely?
  5. LMAO Hey guys, lets all show up there and say we're going camping and need some chairs. Look at the ones they are sitting in and say "I'll take those"   OR......we can go in after they leave and hide all the chairs and let them stand up the next time they come in....I know, not gonna be feasible but the idea made me happy thinking of them looking at empty shelves where the chairs used to be. Hell they'd just grab coolers and sit on them....Dang
  6. Well I just got my first Glock ever. I went with the Gen 4 23 and it fits my hand perfect. Also, everyone and their momma has one and loves them, so that can't be wrong   But I hope to have the 3 you have also someday since I hear they are like AR's and multiply alot!
  7. If they needed the ammo for personal use and felt that squatting on the stoop was the only way to get it, I wouldn't give two craps about it. But knowing there are guys who really do need it (and KIDS) it ticks me off. But can I tell the ones who lie just to keep us off their backs from the truthful ones? No, and that's what really pisses me off. If I hit the lottery, I'm having a .22 giveaway and I'm asking the kids how the parents treat them before I decide how much they get! :)
  8. Outpost Armory in Christiana has Pmags 30 rd Gen 2 for $12.95 and 20 rd Gen 3 for $13.95. I was happy to finally get a 20 rounder for range practice. Would've bought 10 but spent too much money this week. Note: I bought one 30 rd Gen 2 FDE and it was $14.95 but the sign over the black ones said $12.95 like stated above.
  9. Easy now! Baby steps, baby steps!
  10. Especially when so many put up signs to disarm the law abiding citizens. I was in Opry Mills the other day with my family (against my will) but they wanted to go and I was not letting them go alone. Just walking around, I was quickly reminded why I don't let them go by themselves. dropped pants wearing thugs everywhere, walking around staring at people. Not shopping, just looking like they were waiting to start some crap. I watched as they'd walk down the middle of the aisle toward people as if to say "make me move". Same thing in the parking lot, groups of 2 to 5 or 6 just standing in the middle of lanes talking when people were trying to drive. It pisses me off just remembering it. I hate going, but not letting the Mrs and my daughter go without me.
  11. I have never reloaded my own ammo but want to start and then I can do as you stated. And you are correct, I know that POI will change with lot number change or ammo change. I generally stick with the same kind mostly, Core Lokt being what I've mostly shot out of lever action and bolt actions. Of course it will be even more important now that I'm wanting to try longer ranges. Until I get set up to reload, I'll spend my time on my technique, and just shoot and learn. Thanks for the info Red.
  12. I've been able to find most other ammo at Academy lately (9mm less often) but stopped even trying to look for .22 anymore. I have a small amount left and it will stay in the ammo box until I feel like I can replace it.
  13. Outpost recommended trying some Geco Express .308 Win ammo. Any of y'all ever tried it?   http://youtu.be/tsAQxWYpzFo
  14.
  15. I wish they'd publicly hang this pieces of trash when they do this!
  16. Holy crap! Nice'n brother!!
  17. Thank you Spots!
  18. Lol Thanks Dustbuster!
  19. Glad to hear better news than it could have been. Take'r easy and heal up soon!
  20. Joel at Outpost Armory mounted my base, rings, and scope this morning. Can't wait to dial this puppy in! Jake loves the smell of gun oil!
  21.
  22. &@&$++?!?!??$!!! I got really excited.....for a second! Thanks for posting though.
  23. Yes it is Slappy!
  24. The polished slide is slick, but it's growing on me. Still no problem operating the slide where the serrated lines are. The polished barrel is sweet as hell. These are camera pictures so I can't do much adjusting like some of the professional photography I see on here from some of you guys. But hopefully you can see a little bit of what I'm talking about.
