  1. I can't make it tomorrow, but how often do you do the vintage match?  I would like to bring the Garand out for a spin.   Also, do you have some links I can read up on how the matches are run?  I'd just like to read up on all the rules before coming out.  I've never shot a rifle match, but am very interested in getting involved.
  2. Now that I have a Shadow Target I'm thinking about sending my 75B to CZ Custom and have them work it over.
  3. I have been trying to find a Tactical Sport locally in 9mm for years.  Hasn't happened yet, but when it does, I will buy it.  I got a chance to shoot one about 6 years ago and had to wipe the drool off off it before handing it back to the guy.
  4.   I'm going to try to make up some of that habanero, garlic, onion stuff to spray in all my mulched flower beds and see if that helps.
  5. What are you spraying with? I have to do something with my back yard.
  6. He wouldn't have missed if he didn't flinch and close his eyes.  I'm not saying I'd give up my 17 round mag, I'm just saying.
  7.   I shoot pistols with both eyes wide open, but my right eye takes full dominance.  I'm RE/RH so I don't have the problem on this thread, (not to hijack the thread) but I used to always keep my left eye closed.  Shooting with both eyes open is all about practice, and it's hard to practice something when you're not good at it. I had to make myself do it.  It has actually become uncomfortable to close my left eye when I shoot, and I'm actually beginning to shoot long ranges with rifle with both eyes open.   It would be hard to explain to a 7 year old, but with practice you can put your focus through the dominate eye with both eyes open.    I know it's just a repeat, but I'd say pistols with both eyes open, and then lefty for rifles.
  8. There goes the budget.  That's all I can bring.  One steak for John.  LOL
  9. I plan to be there.  Let me know if you need me to bring any food or anything.
  10. Yeah, I couldn't keep up with the rules anyways.  Guess I'll just have to shoot faster and more accurate, and take my lickings on the procedurals because I'm sure I'll miss something.  :)
  11. LOL... yeah it's sacrilege to sell a CZ... that is unless you're selling it to me. :)
  12. I wouldn't worry too much about the ammo if you're keeping it in the house.    Side note, I as a fly fisherman my fly boxes experience quite a bit of moisture from putting wet flies back in the box.  I put a few of the little silica packs (they come in everything) in each box and it keeps my hooks from rusting.
  13. You cut it short.  It is 3 minutes and 46 seconds long.  You must have missed the message at the end.  Please watch it again.  :)
  14. Looking at the Handitasker reminds me of some plastic I used in a project.  Essentially, it's the same stuff the white cutting boards are made of.  I got some scraps from a company in Louisville a few years back when we lived there.  When I say scraps, these were like 15" wide by 36" long.  A few of those and you'd be set.   I don't remember the guy's name I spoke with but you might call and tell them what you're doing and see if they could ship you some scrap.  They have all different thicknesses.  You could get the 3/8" stuff and cut holes in it to relieve some of the weight.   http://www.alro.com

  16. I may be interested in your P-01 for my CZ collection :)  I can't get rid of any of them.
  17. Being a programmer and sys admin myself, I'm surprised they made it this long.  I'd love to see their cloud hosting overages.
  18. I just unloaded...... ahhhhh ... I needed that.   :dirty:   Nice Sig.  I just picked up the reverse two-tone traditional but haven't shot it yet.
