  1. I have no problem getting magazines for the XD.  As for holsters, the only one to get for any gun is a Blade-Tech.
  2. Most definitely.  You want at least 1080p at 30fps.  The 1080p Pivothead is $300, and the GoPro Hero 3 Black Edition (I have this one) is $399.  So you get a little more universal camera for other sports for a little bit more.
  3. If you haven't already, you should check out the new xdm 5.25.
  4. While not a trucker, I am in the business.  In fact, I'm a programmer and just finished up programming the new software to track HOS violations for our OTR guys.  What a PITA!   I agree with TDR that I don't think this is going to have an effect on crashes, which is what this rule (along with CSA2010) was setup to prevent.  What it is going to do is make for a bunch of violations counting against HOS points because guys will have a hard time keeping it straight.  I'm not saying they aren't smart enough to do it, it's just that confusing.   I know my guys would hate to hear me say it, but if I were on the road everyday, I'd take an EOBR all day long just so I could stay legal.
  5.   You'll love it.  I plan to start shooting mine more.  I need to get that first scratch on it so I'm not so squeamish of getting it out of the safe.
  6.   LOL... nah, I will let you keep smacking me down.  But some day!!  Some day!!     I'd say we'll probably end up at the lake.
  7.   I have a new Go Pro Hero 3 that I use on a hat.  Granted the glasses are a lot lighter, but the quality sucks.  They only do 720p.
  8. I've got family coming in this weekend.  I'm hoping to make it to the steel match at the end of the month.   Shoot Straight!!
  9. I have never shot the Glock, but the XD Tactical is my current IDPA/everything gun.  I have a Powder River Precision Ultimate Match Trigger and Warren Tactical sights.  LOVE IT!
  10. The way I read it, that is correct. Even if you must advance along the wall to the next target, you must stop and finish the reload.
  11. While I totally agree with the importance of this safety rule, if you did one and done there would be a lot of new shooters going home.
  12.   You're supposed to join after your first match.
  13.   Especially when that half full mag is holding more rounds than you can even start with in IDPA!  :taunt:
  14.   +1 on the Wilderness Tactical.  Love mine.  Ordered it on their website and had it in about 7 days.
  15. All I have to say is I love to spray 'n pay, and settled back down into my normal spot.  Mentally checked out and about to tell Jammin' Jenny where she can shove it.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M2Ea1wKKYKM
  16.   I agree with you on this.  I don't like the fact I can't carry in our local parks, but I don't show up in protest with a sidearm on each hip.
  17. Looks like we're going to make it, but Liam said he'd rather go to the pool. Go figure.
  18. Dickerson Pike has quite a bit of Tula in 9mm and 223.  There are about 8 boxes of WWB 50rd 45 acp.
  19. No, she didn't mind me playing with HOGNUT, but she did leave my 4-year-old son at home.
  20. My wife is out of town so I'm not sure if I'm going to make it.
  21. Oh I think I need one of these!
  22. Quote, "As a gratified consumer, I thought, “Well, that was easy.” Then the terrifying reality hit me, “Holy hell, that was EASY.”  Too easy. I still knew nothing about firearms."     And you can just as easily walk into Home Depot and buy a hammer.  Doesn't mean you know how to use it, and just as deadly as a Glock.
  23. It's good to start your kids with their hobbies early.   I think my son has watched one too many of our shooting videos.    Oh yeah, and he totally learned to reload from his Peepaw (221Fireball).     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5-qHBCHT8o
