  1. All the way home.  He's the reason we didn't leave until 2:30!  LOL
  2. Despite all the gun and brain issues I had today, it was a great day on the range.  Thanks again to everyone at MCTS for making this happen!
  3. I think you have a bit too much. Can I have about 2000 of the 45? :). Seriously, can I?
  4. It all depends on the Walmart.  Many around Nashville are now carrying Tula BrassMaxx (Fiocchi) for $19.95 for 50rd.
  5. Guess he didn't approve of his ex-wife's new bo.  What is even a bit more absurd is you have a guy who possibly (the whole innocent until proven guilty) went in with intent to kill two people and he gets a $15K bail.
  6. I think I saw some at Everything Weapons in Cool Springs.  I was actually looking for the grease but they didn't have any.
  7. I wouldn't let those in my house much less on one of my prized 1911s.  JMO :puke:
  8. I love it when Jimmy Kimmel does those interviews.  It makes me feel REALLY smart.  OMG these people are idiots!
  9. I don't really keep up with AR items, so the Sig Arm Brace was a new one to me tonight.  While the ATF says it is a brace, and the ATF says you can shoulder a pistol buffer tube, doesn't the Sig Arm Brace really have some grey area if you shoulder it?  Sure looks like a butt stock to me.  But I'm thinking about changing my mind about getting an AR pistol :)
  10. Hermitage and Dickerson Pike have a mixed bag.  .40 and .45 at both, 38sp at Dickerson, mixed .223.    Dickerson had about 8 boxes of 50rd Win SuperX 22 win mag.  $10.99/each
  11. LOL, we forgot to grab the new lot of bullets when we went to the range Sunday. We did have the old lot and I fired three through the chrono. If I remember right, two of the three were over 2900 and one was about 2850. One case split and all three had quite a bit of blow by.
  12. I think I would have to pick the Kill Bill series. But damn Ingloreous Basterds was great too.
  13. At least he's holding that "firearm" correctly. What a crock of crap.
  14.   I agree with this as well.  Not to get off topic, but I wonder how much impact this will have on shooting sports like IDPA, USPSA, etc?  Assuming a person doesn't reload, a match has gone from costing about $30 to $50+.  But I keep telling myself it's still cheaper than playing golf.
  15. I remember reading about the hmr having that issue, but I haven't found that for the 17wsm. As for cleaning, this was the maiden voyage for a new rifle. But I'm pretty religious about cleaning after every outing.
  16. I managed to pick up a Savage B-Mag about a month ago and had dad throw a scope on it. He took it to the range and the first 10 rounds at the range produced three split cases and the groups were not as tight as expected. We called Winchester and the rep said the casings should not be splitting and he asked us to send the remainder of the box in exchange for a new box. A few days later a box showed up at the house and Winchester sent two boxes to replace the one, even before we had a chance to put the bad box in the mail. I guess we'll see how the new lot does. If they are good to go, I'll have to see if they will swap the other 200 rounds I have from the same lot.
