  1. This is a cool video series....     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=04W2V5VjBlk   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kvlKfzW12d0   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xr0MQussnDI   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dgkkWz73Yro
  2. I shot both my WSM and HMR today.  Of course the penetration wounds are exemplary for each on paper :)  I have the WSM zeroed at 100 and could hit an 10" gong at 200 yards holding a few inches over.  Of course the gong didn't move, but you could hear the ting.   My dad rolled a groundhog with the WSM a month back and he said it just stopped.  No last step, no quiver, just dead.  I think for ground hogs and prairie dogs it's going to be a cool little round.
  3.   Yeah, they had some of that in the Hermitage Wal-mart.  I don't get it.  Who in their right mind would buy that?  That's $20/box!
  4.   Whoa whoa, macville just lost all credibility... he just said vacuuming is fun.  LOL  j/k
  5. I don't know, have you noticed the inflation on Girl Scout cookies in the last 10 years?!?!? :)
  6. Kinda makes me wish I didn't get rid of my Slidefire  :yuck:
  7. Let me also say it wouldn't hold value with me because I only buy guns to shoot.  :)
  8.   Which I think was pretty cool back in the day when all of this was done by hand.  I'm not saying there isn't work put into creating these, but with today's lasers, they just create design on a PC, jig the slide, and burn it.  Then you just put in the gold inlay.  I know I'm simplifying this, but all I'm saying is I don't see these having as much "value" as the ones we've seen in the past done by hand.
  9. Guess I need to shop at Joe Bob's.    I don't want to hijack this thread, so please point me to another thread if it has been discussed, but what do you guys think about Timney versus Geiselle triggers?  I'm building a range rifle for punching paper.
  10. Yeah I want to get a Geiselle or timney so I don't need the trigger has anyone seen a cheaper LPK without the trigger?
  11. Why even remove it from the holster? Or at least just lay it in your pants between your feet.
  12. I just couldn't bring myself to do it this morning.  I actually got up, let the dog out, and decided hot coffee in front of the TV would be a bit more enjoyable.
  13. Yeah, all of my data goes in my Google Drive folder and is automatically synced to the cloud. If my computer dies, I rebuild and it will pull everything back down.
  14. Watching the video with the ram, it looks like a spine shot. If it was, it's not a great test of that round. Standard 223 junk ammo will do that. Please post you range tests as I plan to build my TGO AR in 223 and will use it for prairie dogs, etc.
  15. It's just a driver problem. The hard part is figuring out which one it is. As others have said, it's probably a video driver. They are notorious for causing BSOD. http://www.reviversoft.com/blog/2013/01/system-service-exception/
  16. Looks like $400 for the kit with one 10rd drum and then $130 for each additional drum.   http://www.adaptivetactical.com/AT03012.php   http://www.adaptivetactical.com/AT00902.php
  17. This is awesome.  These kids nailed it.   https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mYKLvYGqaC0&feature=share
  18. Good news I saw today.  I can't confirm it except from this website, so I hope it's real.     http://news.awfbase.com/content/knockout-game-turns-deadly-60-year-old-woman-shoots-and-kills-2-teens-after-being-punched
  19. Yup, if I don't want anyone to know about it, it doesn't touch a computer much less the internet. But for storing photos and other crap you can't beat Google's prices.
  20. This whole thing just pisses me off.  Lots of folks, including some of my friends, have received their cancellation notices, and they can't even turn around and signup for healthcare on the ACA website.  This is such a crock of crap.  My fellow TGO nerds and I could have build the ACA site and it would have worked!  Last I heard they were barely over 300 signups.  My five year old could build a website to handle 300 registrations!
  21. I do this every time I pick up a gun. I do this in my own house when I get a gun out of my safe. I do it at my dad's when I get a gun from his safe. And he does the same thing. I do it when a dealer hands me a gun that i just watched him check. It's an instinctive thing. Do it. Don't take any chances.
