  1. I'm subscribed to the thread, so I just hit them from my email when I see it come through.  I try to hit them on my phone as well.
  2. That looks like fun.  Is this the first year for it?
  3. http://www.armslist.com/posts/3330044/charlotte-north-carolina-ammo-for-sale--misc--22-ammo---federal--remington--and-cci http://www.armslist.com/posts/3330128/raleigh-north-carolina-ammo-for-sale---22lr-rimfire-ammo---federal-bulk http://www.armslist.com/posts/3330100/tri-cities-tn-ammo-for-sale--1650-rounds-of--22lr-federal-ammo---3-new-boxes--
  4.   Boom!!! I finally got some pink on the last one!
  5.   This is not a decent price.  Those bricks are $20 at my Walmart.  Add 9.25% tax and it's $21.85.  For people who have to go out of their way to get to a Wal-Mart, yeah, you've got $10 worth of gas, so call it $30 as a reasonable price.  JMHO   I still like this thread.  I make sure to flag on my computer and phone to get two hits in.
  6. .. umm? That's what she said? :)
  7. Rickey, where is this mystical shade you speak of at GGC, other than under the shed?
  8. Collapsible baton works good :)
  9. Dick move.  I spot Crossbreed clips all the time.
  10. I like the one box limit. That means there is actually ammo, even 22lr most weeks. They had 100rd Federal 45 acp for $28 last week.
  11. Walmart this morning... Federal 50ct, $1.98
  12. Ladyhay.. "I may not carry chambered. Or I may only carried chambered away from the children or when I am in a situation that is quite uncomfortable."   I would suggest picking one and sticking to it.  As KKing suggests, in the heat of the moment you won't remember what to do.  It has to be instinctive muscle memory.  Either draw and fire, or draw, rack, and fire.
  13. We spend $220 per week on average. We don't really eat out, I take my lunch, and I've been drinking much less alcohol. What's sad is that is what it costs to eat healthy. We only eat fresh or flash frozen veggies, fresh fruit, chicken and pork, and raw nuts. There may be a few boxes of cheezits per month, but that's about it for snacks. I guess you could call it a "caveman" diet, though we don't "diet". We just cut out most all processed food all the way down to condiments like BBQ sauce, etc. Got back to the raw/fresh food. We could probably save money with processed foods, but I'd rather give up something else in order to eat well. It's no wonder this country had obesity problems. Those less fortunate have to eat the crap food because the fresh stuff is almost twice as expensive.
  14. Yeah, you don't want to know mine. We have a household of four, and my two boys are only 5 and 2, and already eat as much as I do.
  15. Looks good. The only thing I would comment on is the length of time to get a tax stamp.  I think the days of a six month wait is over, and in reality you're looking at 12 months.
  16. I'd like to see the price, but I'm probably in.  Personally I like the TR4 over the Godfather.
  17. If you need a brick, $39.78 is a lot better than what you'll find around town, unless you happen across some at Walmart or Academy.
  18. How old are the rounds? After getting my early batch replaced by Winchester I've only had a few split and it was minimal.
  19. I like that new stage one.  What's the execution on that?
  20. Why everyone should always carry a knife.
  21. So that just goes to show you how much they have it marked up. They are still willing to sell it for $55/brick and are making money. The extra $20 was a stupid tax.
  22. I don't like the idea of any "real looking" rounds around my dry fire practice area. Peraonnaly I ONLY use empty mags for dry fire. In the grand scheme of things, there really isn't that much difference.
  23. I'll be coming to see you guys in a few weeks.
