Sorry for the late notice guys. I posted on Facebook and forgot to post here. There will be no match this week. This Thursday at Royal Range USA is LEO appreciation day. The range will be taking care of those that take care of us and will have the ranges set aside with events for our Law Enforcement Officers. With that being said the TN Action Pistol IDPA match this week will be cancelled so the men and women in blue can enjoy some range time and events at Royal Range USA. I'll throw out a revo challenge to anyone who wants to play.

FYI We will utilize 10 Newbold plates with a tie breaker pepper popper in the middle. The match will be a double eliminate man vs man challenge, and we are planning to do a team vs team format as well. With the double elimination bracket, prepare for a high round count match. At the last match we only used 6 plates per side, and most shooters burned through 120+ rounds, and some much more than that. With 10 plates, your round count could hit 200. In terms of equipment, this will be a heads up match with magazines loaded to 10 max, 11 to start. Iron sights only. Centerfire calibers, .380 and up. Bullets MUST be ROUND NOSE only. Hollow points, wadcutters, etc will cut up the plates. Doors open at 5pm, shooters meeting at 6pm. Please be in the range by 5:50 for registration. Royal Range Halloween Fun Match - Thursday October 20th, 2016 TN Action Pistol will be hosting a Halloween Fun Match at Royal Range in Nashville, TN. It's lights out for this match and we'll have bats, zombies, and dogs running around the range. Average per stage round count is 23. There will be three divisions for the match. Two pistol divisions - Weapon mounted light or handheld light. Magazines will be loaded to 10 rounds. All pistols must be holstered. Pistol Caliber Carbine - This is an open division. Lights, lasers, and load the magazines full. PCC will need chamber flags. FYI, I think William said they are running an old rules BUG match this Sunday. It will be short and FAST stages. You can bring whatever gun you want to shoot, but I'm pretty certain all starts will be downloaded. Bring your daily carry and see how good you really are!
