  1. My prayers out to you and your family. Am glad you've been blessed w someone as wonderful as her!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  2. I like how they reference the jitb on trinity lane incident. They'll prob use the same story again only changing the store to tiger mart or Waffle House when convenient. Businesses that border that store. That shooting happened in a part of town that's like the Wild West for dumbasses and douchebags. That part was left out. This Voldemort 2a ideology of dressing like a turd bag. And slinging a rifle in a restaurant is living proof that idiots shouldn't breed. 3. I know I'm off on the 1st! Will be there !!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  4. Although no one usually deserves to be a victim of a violent crime, but, it goes to show you, the ring around the pistol thing in aisle 14,aka feminine product section, doesn't work on pus filled rectums or dried up sphincters.
  5. Nowhere in that article does it mention keeping your customer happy. I get the colt 6920 metaphor, but I believe you'll have impulsive buyers, cost conscientious buyers, and new folks that gotta have one before it all goes away as stated in the article. We saw the rise and fall of useltons, his way or no way or try to sell a family 5000 buck 1911's when they just came in to try shooting 22's.The customers were hardly ever happy, or they made believe to be happy to cover buyers remorse after the fact.they tried everything to get the masses to swallow their erectile 1911's   Id rather have my kids eating steaks than hot dogs too, but, a loyal customer appreciates being treated nicely, selling a 400 dollar pistol for 750.00, 350 over msrp wont make up for the guys that come in every week and spend 50 bucks a week over the course of a year. 50 times say 48 weeks is: a lot more than 350.00 in a one time sale. never bite the hand that feeds you.   Some stores go out of their way for repeat buyers and offer discounts on things and more, thats a lot smarter than offing a handful of unobtainiums up for crazy markup. Keep everyone happy and they'll keep coming back, and if they enjoy their experience, and find it valuable and even fun, they wont mind paying more in exchange for fair friendly treatment.buying a gun or accessory should be fun, not a necessary evil.   There's a shop i really like that helped me with a rifle i really wanted. I was short on money for it but the mgr said " i see you here all the time" let me see what I can do. Ive spent a few large in that big shop off 24 over the years, he came back and made me a fair offer on it cause he knew i wanted it, appreciated my loyalty, and wanted to move a few. I left w that bad ass rec7.   I think weve beat up the "I hate the fat know it all behind the counter" numerous times on here. In the vortex, it still comes back to treating people nicely....its sad that online shops are beating some LGS's on customer svc....where everyone has a perfect steak. thats my opinion..
  6. hahaha scary 1911 LAX makes you drag it to TSA, at BNA they run it down the chute to em. BNA is great to fly out of w guns. LAX so so, on a side thought,NY Airports are in their own communist world.LE or not NY is just bad.... whats correct is putting your pistol in a hard case w a non tsa lock locking it  w your empty mags, put your defense ammo in a factory carton in a separate case. fill out the declaration while youre telling the agent you have a firearm to declare. thats not bad info, its how i've flown to LA the past 26 times w no issues.Quote everythin under the sun,its up to the agent at the ticket counter on how you have to do it.Its their way or no way/no fly w your boolits and hammer. A prick agent could make reddog pack those as shown above in 3 separate cases using 3 declaration cards. Teecro is correct as in theres a lot of writing about flying w guns but i found this which is a good example of what to expect: http://www.arkansascarry.com/information/flying-with-firearms/454-american-airlines.html
  7. "This info is somewhat INCORRECT ammo can be in the same case as the locked gun and can be in plastic case... I've flown numerous times and carry everything in ONE case...." (Edited w/o an I phone) You can put all of it in one case if you want, the airline has specific policy. When they say in mfg packaging they're meaning factory carton. It's to keep fliers from transporting loose rounds in crayon boxes in checked bags. Ive argued this post 911 and finally gave in. Every airline has their rules. Its up to the agent at the counter to put the weapon. Southwest AA and United want ammo separate from firearms.Again its up to the agent at the counter. I've had em ok one thing and go against the other. Because I typically don't have time to dick around at the counter,I plan for the worst and pray for the best. I also carry extra declaration cards in case they run out. The cards are specific to each airline, there is no one fits all.  hope this helps have fun
  8. This one might help Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  9. Make sure you have your gun in a case w a non TSA lock. Your ammo must be in a factory box, no plastic cases, not loaded in mags. The ammo goes separately not in the pistol case. There is a card you fill out that u get from the airline.fill out 2 and keep a copy on you in case there's a problem. Bury that bad boy in your luggage, sometimes u can ask TSA to wrap their tape around that bag for safer keeping. In calif I'd keep your pistol put away unless in a hotel or u get lost in Compton. Once you hit the road, and get out of the communist state u should be gtg. Hope this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

  15. I put a no guns allowed decal from Wally World on my car. Came out one morning and saw the rock and broken glass. Moral is no decals at all. No stick people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  16. The deputy actually gave the proper answer, may not be right but proper. U can only shoot someone if there is eminent threat to life. She also can't give legal advice. That's what abogados are for...in addition to liability issues... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

  21. Discussed this w dolomite and used JP and bte adj gas blocks. Problems solved after spending time tuning the guns, I also changed extractor springs to wolf springs and added rubber d rings. My stuff runs fine as frog hair. It took some work but am happy w it. Gunsmith I recommend: tony at Maximus arms in Franklin. He knows class 3 stuff very well, is fairly priced and backs up his work. Gets on stuff ASAP and doesn't dick around. Hole this helps Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  22. Well get those retasked to aisle 14 by Monday. great idea!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  23. Booyah!!! congrats on the reward for hard work!!!!!
  24. *240FPS + Remember, divide that number by cameras used. *Get at least an 8 channel DVR = 8 cameras. I bought a 8 channel DVR that came with 4 cameras, then added. * PTZ Capable (Pan tilt zoom) camera, runs on its own channel. My system I can use the remote to move this camera around.   get a DVR capable of 30 frames per second per camera thats where the 240 FPS comes from stay away from anything that uses proprietary connectors, especially the ones that look like rj11 phone jacks PTZ is a nice option 8 channel is a good option you can always add on but cant take away. The small mini outdoor domes ( cameras) run between 90 and 200 bucks per dome, look for something that has a vari focal lens that will go from say 3 to 12mm and has IR LED's to see at night any camera with a sharp or sony chipset will usually work well DVR's are across the board be prepared to spend about 350 on a decent 8 channel dvr monitor to watch: a small flat panel tv works fine for home use, make sure it has a " composite" or analog input on the back, this is a yellow RCA connector that sits next to a red and white one. hope this helps if u need more info contact me off list and i can walk u through some options. In the long run its all about what u want to see w the system.
  25. That's hilarious!
