we discussed this before, but i wanted to post an official belch report on it. as i mentioned in the past, its ok to tell the callers about the dead bodies in front of your home, or ask them how to dispose of annoying relatives, just dont give them any financial info...... Warning: Yet another phone scam alert! Don't get caught in this mess from cnet: I warned you that the phishing phone scam where people claiming to be Microsoft Tech Support called you at home, attempting to get access to your personal computer was alive and still very active and to be on alert if you were to get such a call. As a result, I received a lot of emails from our members who actually got coaxed into this phishing scam, some not only losing hundreds of dollars, but losing time spent repairing their computers, and the worst -- feeling of being violated. Unfortunately I have another warning for the unsuspecting. This time it's not fake Microsoft reps calling, but perpetrators claiming to be the US Internal Revenue Service making calls to homes, claiming that you owe back taxes that you must pay up or risk being arrested by the authorities. I know we have a lot of international readers who aren't in the United States, but surely if it's happening here in the US, it definitely can happen across the globe in some way similar to this -- so it's better to be forewarned.

There's things that add credibility and things that reveal fabricated allegations. You'd be surprised at how many sorry ass parents use child abuse as a weapon or vindictive tool to harm someone.wasting resources needed for real victims. He was charged, released, with a child placed back at his home, according to what were being led to believe, by news reports. For someone to get a second crack at taking him down is a feat in itself. Usually additional counts are in the initial warrant. Usually. Louisiana. There are certain things that should be scrutinized and analyzed when dealing with this type of criminal act. Namely because of how it's used in a tortious manner by the disgruntled, and dismissed because a family has nothing but a child's disclosure. That's why I'd like to see the disclosure......

Ya never know Dave, w cases like this it's all about the disclosure. Of course it prob won't be of public record, but I'd still line to analyze it. If it exists.... Louisiana is a funny place....

He shouldn't get squat. No reasonable person parades around police headquarters with a weapon sling over their back. Metro could have kept him on the street for hours wearing his ass out with questions. If some douche is in a public place pacing or loitering with a weapon they need to be addressed properly out of concern for public safety. If he didn't violate any law then so be it but, if he wants recognition he's better off auditioning for the Howard stern show then taunting cops for real attention. Doing anything to wow the crowd w a gun isn't the best thing to do in the past 10 years..

There is no way the press will have a statement from a minor child. I'm betting the mother coached the kid as many others have done in the past as a vindictive stunt w no fear of repercussions. All an agency needs is a disclosure from a minor child to get a warrant. Doesn't matter if it's true or not a disclosure is a disclosure. There is no check or balance. Only a good interviewer can decipher between truth and bs. In the end it's about a trial lawyers and money.

I'll bet if they called the suspect up he would have turned himself in.i get a vibe that he can be prick like most of us, but aggravated rape of a 12 yr old is a heavy allegation. Some of the crap that goes on in that state is deplorable due the fact the level of corruption has been so bad. I guess well sit back and see what happens on this although anything involving a juvenile is under wraps anyhow....and juvenile court is a different animal compared to criminal.this oughta be good...
