Haven't found any I like in nashville, most of em have beat up stuff as mentioned above, or thousand dollar norinco's or off the wall beaters.Went to a big one near cookeville. Same thing, lotsa overpriced junk. Like eBay... Id rather pay a lil more and be safe than be maimed or dead by saving less than my insurance deductible. I'd bet there's deals here and there but I never see. em..what I don't get is why they're so hard on their warez price wise....especially w places like buds and more on the net

Had to share this! Apparently an off-duty officer in Western NY State went to an outpatient imaging center. Here is the case report. The officer was carrying his Colt 1991-A1 compact. Due to a miscommunication with the technician and the officer, the officer entered the MRI room with his firearm. He attempted to set the firearm down on top of a cabinet that was 3 feet away from the MRI magnet bore. The magnet pulled the gun into itself. When the gun struck the side of the magnet it discharged a round. No one was hurt. They shut down the magnet to remove the gun. According to reports, the gun was still in the cocked and locked position. There was an empty cartridge in the chamber. http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/10/13/machine-disarms-police-officer-discharges-weapon/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=2014-10-14&utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter

I went to Lebanon once and left w a new lower for 50 bucks cause the seller was desperate. I think if the shows were organized into a family related event they'd see more traffic. The promoters should find a fair priced location, make it attractive and be selective with vendors. They should invite mfg's to some of the bigger shows, and make it educational as well. Partner up w airsoft folks and there would really be traffic. I know there is a line between air and real but this is about making it something to enjoy and not just tolerate at a price. One of the reasons I believe these shows are dying is because of greedy promoter forgetting that there are people inside of the building that have paid, and people outside that won't pay because of reasons the promoter won't accept. Promoting any show is not easy. But now that there's little competition let's see where it goes. Hopefully bug zap lady and nazi Junkers will walk, and the shows will get better. Paying 5 bucks to park does suck. They should include it in admission and get dealers to give it back to someone who spends over a certain amount. Like someone said in the past, a gun show is only good for finding a gas block on Sunday. I agree but it'd be fun to go than consider it a neccessary evil.

Portable Barn / Garage (storage bldg) - Suggestion?
Dustbuster replied to R_Bert's topic in General Chat
just saw the cost, was thinking of the 10 or 15 footer -
Milwaukee tool sells a right angle 1/4 drive socket adapter that works great that would probably work. A thumb ratchet may work as well.

^^^^^ This Just remember no armor piercing rounds or steel jacket stuff ie green tip. You'll get disqualified for using any of the above. Some matches will require slugs, fiochi low recoil works well and is priced right
