  5. That's cool, I like messing w comps as well, mostly to keep the muzzle in place. Dolomite brought up using a effin a by ares arms Mine came in last week will mount and test this week. It's basically a comp w a load of holes where you plug the holes w set screws until it sits where you want it...
  6. Too cool!
  7. I'd pay the fee, chip your dog, and watch the "finder" like a FNG hawk. I'd look at what else they have in their pet fleet. I'd even go as so far to secretly bring a chip reader to scan other pets. If the chip reader hits I'd do some serious homework..then wax his ass.
  8. Cool threAd thanks for the event listings!

  18. It was getting more difficult to cycle it after changing magazines. all of the components stayed moist.the buildup was absolutely disgusting.we intentionally ran it without cleaning it or adding any additional lubrication,it did really well. The gas valve got really boogered up and was almost impossible to get apart to clean, but after some persuasion it fared fairly well and was properly cleaned.
  19. I used one of their conversion barrels in a Glock 35. After it was broken in it worked great.still does

  23. My condolences to u and your family. Hopefully everyone will get through this dilemma in peace
  24. Haven't found any I like in nashville, most of em have beat up stuff as mentioned above, or thousand dollar norinco's or off the wall beaters.Went to a big one near cookeville. Same thing, lotsa overpriced junk. Like eBay... Id rather pay a lil more and be safe than be maimed or dead by saving less than my insurance deductible. I'd bet there's deals here and there but I never see. em..what I don't get is why they're so hard on their warez price wise....especially w places like buds and more on the net
  25. Had to share this!   Apparently an off-duty officer in Western NY State went to an outpatient imaging center. Here is the case report. The officer was carrying his Colt 1991-A1 compact. Due to a miscommunication with the technician and the officer, the officer entered the MRI room with his firearm. He attempted to set the firearm down on top of a cabinet that was 3 feet away from the MRI magnet bore. The magnet pulled the gun into itself. When the gun struck the side of the magnet it discharged a round. No one was hurt. They shut down the magnet to remove the gun. According to reports, the gun was still in the cocked and locked position. There was an empty cartridge in the chamber.       http://www.thefirearmblog.com/blog/2014/10/13/machine-disarms-police-officer-discharges-weapon/?utm_source=Newsletter&utm_medium=Email&utm_content=2014-10-14&utm_campaign=Weekly+Newsletter
