  1. you can try clear wireless,50 a month, youll have unlimited net,get a roku box and youll have plenty of movies w netflix for 8.00 per mo, plus pay as ya go w amazon etc. 58 a month is about all TV is worth these days.........at least this way you get hi speed net cheap...
  2. If ya really dont want em back, throw a 1 foot wide,8 foot long strip of 1/2 plywood down with a bed of nails through it on your side of the driveway. 2 flats at once will surely keep em away.just remember its there! but i would def call the po po so they know its an ongoing problem.just be advised, its best to have a tag,and advise they are doing more than just turning around,U turns dont justify use of deadly force,or use of 911 ;) remember the guy in Alabama was pissed about the bus driver doing u turns,u dont wanna be stereotyped or profiled as a u turn hater ... all fun aside the HF plan sounds logical to let em know they cant stay
  3. Haha no worries here the tgo 2 inch non locking FAA approved knives should be ready soon .....
  4. If possible,Get the tag, call the pd or emergency number and report it as a suspicious vehicle. The pd now have PC to stop and inquire.approaching with a weapon drawn, using lasers etc is provoking an assault. Making your presence known and asking if u can provide assistance may answer your question. Just because someone pulls into your drive at the end doesn't establish anything. Typically 15 feet off of the edge of the asphalt is still considered easement and or public domain. Without arguing about curtilage and borders err on the side of caution, but I wouldn't wear out emergency svcs just because a car comes around in what one may percieve to be a suspicious manner....
  5. Fwiw the TGO mobile app works great at 37 k feet at a rate of 395 mph Thanks David
  6. all understood, i had read where the suggestion for use was distilled water,a little bit of simple green and or a small amount of white vinegar.. all makes sense BUT...   no one mentioned what portion size/how much or percentage of each item should be measured and used ( no martha stewart jokes please) I know about eds red, cool stuff, thanks for the link, am fishing for a good balanced combination to use for cleaning pistols and parts on a regular basis that wont turn a gun into a bare ingot...thanks!!
  7. Considering the age of the Glocks, and me speculating,it might just be a matter of using existing funds versus losing the funds which would then go to say fertilizing a flower patch near the city landfill instead of going to firearms and training.   On another note surely the sale will have to go to bid no????anything over 2500.00 (or 2200) should be...
  8. good riddence,  cancer got the cancer,i hope his replacement isn't as fu$%&ed up as he was...
  9. Why is it recommended to use white vinegar when cleaning guns using a tank or ultrasonic?
  10. Nice stats,so if we had  68,898,629. background checks and 5 % failed leaving 65,453698 purchased, w no one showing up at the range,no ammo on the shelfs cept 7 mm and 30-06,my question is,how long before the hoarders start dumping when bamanomics kick in? ( again) time for new deals!!! Ill bet 223 will drop back to 375.00 per thousand pretty soon and a lot of black rifles and gear pop up faster than hadji in fallujah or whack a moles at chuckey cheese!!! If hoarders start dumping ammo the shelves should replenish pretty quick   :usa:
  11. cool stuff, we use go pros at work on occasion very rugged w good hi definition video.Never weapon mounted though,.Am curious to know how long the cam will last/live with all of the force generated from the weapon.thanks for the links.maybe well see some more fps protege's....
  12. i read something about avoiding metal to metal contact but who knows all good here.does anyone know why to add white vinegar to the cleaning process?
  13. A friend had a squirrel dilemma, the  critter ridder came out w have a heart traps, trapped 3 and took em 20 miles away.his claim was that they will come back as they have nothing better to do and the criters will always opt for familiar areas over re settling...made sense to me.after they were gone he sealed the area with chicken wire, wood and spray foam to keep the gang from chewing their way back in.Hope this helps......
  14. OK,Hit HF,picked up the big one, used the discount, bought the ext warranty.usually i dont but this time i couldnt resist.Mixed simple green and distilled water at 50/50,about 2 inches up from the bottom of the tank 1 inch below the fill mark.Looks like a good 1 gun at a time machine, i can lay the frame on its side and parts next to it.It comes w a plastic strainer. First victim was the HK 40 C, 3 runs at 3 mins per run, used the heat feature...considering i bought the hk used, and its over 8 years old,the tank went from a pretty green to septic tank green/dark,the components were immaculate.Im impressed.Next victim, the HK 45C,my edc forever, clean on the outside and easy accessible inside, greased with shooters red grease...my dark green tank went from dark green to septic tank black.pulled it out after 3 runs at 3 minutes, remnants of shooters choice was hung by the decock mechanics but the gun was clean..... This is prob the best accessory i've bought in a long time oorah, thanks for the suggestions, im real pleased with it.My only question is what is the diff between the HF model and a 500 dollar industrial stainless model?? i have my own idea but am curious...do they clean faster or use better transducers ????( no china jokes pls )....
  15. I purchased a 1911 tacops from a guy who offed it due to issues w it jamming/magazine related. He used chip and wilson mags and still had issues.I polished the ramp and went through the pistol w a fine tooth comb.I cleaned it up, lubed it,and ran @ 200 rounds through it with the wilson chip, and factory mags.the chip mag worked at 100% as  the sig and wilson mag had 1 jam each. Some of the ammo i ran through was old military ammo that was dirty nasty, and dull,it worked fine, albeit 2 jams.I ran some off the shelf 230 grain and it worked fine.ran another 100 rounds of federal 230 and it was good as it could be.i believe the sigs require extra work and tlc to keep em less prone to failure.Someone may have better insight on this but your issue is definitely not an isolated one...
  16. thanks gang, ill head to HF, give it a whirl, and report back THX!
  17. Was considering a sharpertek  SH150 ,SH180 or Crest CP 200 or 500 or  ultrasonic cleaner for gun parts etc anyone ever use or own these or similar?? Seems like a few folks werent happy w the hornady or franklin arsenal units so am avoiding those. My idea was to find a decent machine to clean parts and brass, any input appreciated! Thx
  18. SNAFU,never had to think before going to the range,it sucks, not enough time to reload, when i find 223 its near a buck a round...im using my old ammo funds to pay for a therapist to help me get through my reloading nightmares and empty shelf trauma,,,i never knew 1 disturbed a holes actions would have such an outrageous ripple effect......im shooting less but life is ok.....meh
  19. For those that really dont get it or dont ever fly anywhere,The reason things get successfully exploited or blown to bits is because of complacency, stupidity and someones desire to make a point.TSA "aint" the perfect high speed agency that neutralizes all threats,i consider them a groaning neccessity, but then again no one is lured into govt work for high pay and perks.( elected officials exempt)hence sometimes you really do get what you pay for.Theyre human just like we are.theyre not perfect as we are,but their mission is vital, and sometimes their mission doesnt go well.On another note,I'd rather have my life end on better terms than dying because of what some idiot brought onboard aircraft that should have been stopped....Ive been around air wreckage, typically theres usually a shortage of survivors.TSA may suck to deal with but its no worse than dealing with other breeders or sources of ignorance....pls dont forget that 9/11 started with turds wielding boxcutters doing takedowns on jets people and buildings...before TSA and arfcom in full force came stumbling along....
  20. I concur w tricky nicky but,tsa is a necessary evil.its either tsa or cuff every passenger before take off.and no carry ons.Simple.I fly frequently, and have done so for a very long time.If its not bad guys boarding aircraft, its stupid people bringing items on board they should leave at home.I want tsa to be around so idiots dont bring lithium batteries on in a bag with leaking nail polish remover or acetone,i want tsa to take blow torch style lighters away.I want TSA to maintain a list of nuts and threats that shouldn't be on a machine that travels at 350 plus mph at 7 miles up...again necessary evil that will go away when stupid becomes a fixable mode...
  21. let me get my yellow century 21 jacket out so i can be ready for the avalanche of new real estate business roflmao....guy needs a bowtie adjustment........w the price of gas skyrocketing again, "pool money to get your ass to work" everyday is a better message...........
  22. Sounds good to me! I remember a Jets delivery guy took out a robber in Nashville, gotta love the pizza industry when it come to gun control!!   http://youtu.be/xVS3UDk5yAg
