  5. I had a problem with the trijicon rmr7 operating intermittently. Apparently others did as well. Often sending it back to trijicon w the same issue resurrecting. It would work when it wanted to. I think I've got a good fix. This has been dominant w M&P 9 and some Glocks. My problem was with a smith perf center 9 that I'd been trying to love after dealing with issues I had with a std m&p 9. Even worse,Spending money on a quality made optic that would die while being used was more than disappointing.especially when mounted on to a specific S&W that's made to be used w an optic. The fix: Ditch the stock battery and replace it with a new ever ready 2032 watch battery. Once the optic is removed, use a #2 pencil eraser and gently clean the mounting plate, if your using one, and the battery holder by gently erasing any surface grime. notice the small tang that rests against the side of the battery. GENTLY bend it toward the center of the battery holder. We want to make it apply more pressure to the edge of the battery. So bend it gently. Using 3m super 33 electrical tape, cut 2 small identical length strips that will be adhered to the mounting plate or top of the receiver where the bottom of the optic will rest after being mounted. You can cut the strips so they do not cover the optics mounting homes. Its easier to cut the strips right on the tape roll so when u peel it from the roll, they fit perfect w no fumbling. Place a small drop of blue loctite on each of the screw threads.Re install the optic making sure the mounting screws are not too long for the holes they fill, push the optic toward the muzzle when mounting.dont over tighten the screws.Allow this to dry overnight. You're all set. Now if you're wondering why we did this; The battery seems to shift and break electrical contact when being fired while mounted on a MP9. The delay of the dot re appearing, is believed to be from the sight rebooting, after it was slammed during the last firing! This very aggravating. The tape keeps the plate and optic in place with a gentle buffer to help prevent shock, while keeping the battery stable where we want . Note the o ring around the base of the optic For keeping dust and moisture out. Note sight and base plate. Applying tape to slide is ok, the idea is to provide a cushion, keep crud out and Help mount the sight so it's level at all four corners.

  14. I would go to another vet and get a second opinion in the meantime if your dog appears to be in pain you will have to make that decision so he can either have a good life for a painful life or go to doggie heaven I know it's not an easy decision but that's just my opinion. There are so many vets out there that will grind people for every last penny trying to put food on their table I understand it is how they make a living but you also have to be realistic about your expectations and your budget. Had a vet do a bunch of work on my rat terrier and tell us that she would only live for two weeks to six weeks all that was eight months ago and 1500 bucks later. Hope my input gives you something to think about it is not an easy decision to make but I pray it works out for the best for you and your pet
