  1. This is better than the kardashians camping out in the desert w the duck guys. Aside from all of the interesting opinions, if someone asks is it worth running a checkpoint, I immediately think of how wonderful it is to tell someone that their loved one was killed or didn't survive the crash....or think of how it feels when a parent gets in an officers face and says my child is dead because u didn't do YOUR job. Keeping roads safe is the job. If ya don't like checkpoints don't drive. Keep us All safe.... The stats are never right. If you don't believe me check ems logs for response info.

  3. The faraday principle of the bag or box in this case is to create a RF (radio frequency) and induction proof environment. Nothing enters nothing leaves. It's used in forensic work to preserve the integrity of data that's stored in a device that can change that data when sending or receiving a signal, typically GPS or cell phone.
  4. Does anyone know if the driver was pulled over? or does the pd patrol autozone parking lots ? Also have 3 guys wearing 2 different uniforms. Something "ain't" right I don't condone substance abuse w a minor child present but something just isn't right. Almost like a ploy to get you tube type hits....
  5. If i needed to thwart damage caused by emf i would triple up on the bags or build a box.lined w lead or copper to store gizmos.always yank the battery out of a stored communication device. good post Sam thanks!!!

There's good n bad everywhere. I agree w popo one thing i have noticed over the past 10 years its easier for word to travel due to the net and social media. One of the worst traits of a group is there is always a common desire for a common enemy, that's what keeps groups together as well as taking em to sides. Telling popo or any officer it's their responsibility to rid their workplace of someone who did something the masses aren't happy with is funny yet understood but yet a moot request. Wanna bitch about an officer?,go to the supervisor chief or sheriff or a higher elected official.if you can't do that your gripe may be minimal or just part of the plan to have the common enemy in pursuit of self satisfaction. Its no different than bitching to a manager about a bad waiter or poor service.Ill take this 180 degrees, if the next person Ross stopped after the video incident was drunk, blew double the limit and was arrested, where does Ross stand now?? Not at the funeral of the family grieving for their dead loved one who could have been alive had Ross NOT done his job. We all have good and bad days. The common enemy factor is prevalent on this issue. Seems to go with the question how come we can name every tyrant and terrorist by name and act who is dead, but not name one innocent victim? Again common enemy stuck in ones mind. How many folks thank supervisors chiefs and sheriffs when their loved one is saved or an act of heroism occurs not many. I believe people should stop using the nancy grace approach of trial by masses, media, and speculation, and consider what an officer has to go through w every call, traffic stop and crime scene investigation before organizing the emotionally weak or needy who need to feed on someone's temporary shortcoming or mistake.on a side note I feel for any officer having to work a dui checkpoint in a college town. Every other car probably has at least one drunk and one sea lawyer ready for battle along with a driver whose condition is unknown. Now that I've exercised my 1st amendment right, ill ask that before anyone take negativity to the next level, know real fact and understand we're all human, none of us are perfect, and most of the time most people enjoy helping people, especially in law enforcement. Back to my Nomex tent
  7. The driver had some excellent points. everyone seems to forget driving is a privilege not a right. An officer can err on the side of caution but this officer did not Handle the stop well enough.the minute the driver asks if he was being detained the officer should have re aligned his conversation. Mishandling the dog just opened the door for future acquittals based on pc developed by inducing "dog hits" ..... Not good. Back to the kardashians. News at 11
  8. Hes been reassigned as director of the state diesel fuel rebate program....(couldn't resist) He should have been fired for misconduct..
  9. Good way to jump into le is to get a degree, look at the requirements for entering tn POST academy, check out salaries and benefits w diff agencies. All avail through website research. Hope this helps.
  10. roflmao ..... lotsa ladies w buzz cuts n chain drive wallets working there too ;/ on a side note one day smyrna pd responded to a call from someone who told them " theyre trying to break my door down" when the pd showed up,and drew down, they learned real quick it was usms working a warrant........the one in custody belched out a holes at the pd while being dragged in hooks. I feel for smyrna PD....some good guys there but theres some that need to be enforcing squirrel jumping instead of policing.thanks for the employment 411
  11. if you buy this gun you will be faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than a locomotive able to leap tall buildings...oh wait dang its a glock! 4 more boxes of seeds and its mine!!!!!!!! LOL
  12. I've always believed in Adam and Eve vs Adam and Steve but I was forced to watch broke back mountain ....... Don't think govt should have intervened. I just hope that no tax dollars are wasted studying any gay bs items because of this marriage thing when saint Jude's hospital is at full capacity,,,,
  13. Small place little pricey, the guys that run it are friendly. They do stock some dillon equipment and supplies. Not much in accessories place is about twice the size of the goodlettsville gun shop. Pre school they had normal stock, last time I was in lots of Taurus and n Hi tec. 15. Just picked up this upper w 556 and 300 AAC barrels. Awesome upper. Check it out faxonfirearms.com This is gonna be fun !!!! Ar meets ak w scar
  16. 300 blackout,i was messing with a lee crimp die after using the built in oem taper crimp die and this is what i got. Doesn't take much to get that awesome shoulder but....a small bit of CCW adjustment did the trick to avoid damage.Have been using both a Hornady set and RCBS 300 AAC set. not sure which i like more or less, all fun to work with. On an addl note the rcbs dies have a tc on the side which indicates that die will produce a taper crim v roll crimp. ( and yes I did RTFM) lol

    The Bus

Ill bet the rear axle of the waste of a billboard bus weighs in at way more than 34000 lbs. illegal to operate.... Also If someone's getting paid to drive it it needs to be DOT compliant...
  18. I know what did, just wanted to get some group input before posting the problem and solution. The pic will show a bulge at the shoulder of these cases. They were not fired but were pulled apart. https://www.dropbox.com/s/3le2acmtvk61d8g/Photo%20Jun%2023%2C%209%2015%2008%20PM.jpg
  19. Guess the fat bastard wanted to eat the couch himself... What's w Putnam county and animal abuse???? They just love shooting dogs in Putnam co. Cops and drunks especially...
  20. Nothing to it . Save hard retaliation energy for the wonderful "church" group that likes to show up at fallen soldiers funerals you know, the guys that keep tangling with "anonymous".... Ill Wayne is just well lil Wayne who's not paying attention to what's on the ground.
  21. TN is horrible when it comes to being environmentally conscious. TEDEC is a crap agency that has done nothing but make excuses and cover up deplorable acts. They couldn't care about water, fly ash spills, and now want to allow fracking ... And you thought the water now is bad .. Just wait . TEDEC makes Jodi Arias look like saint.. The director should be ousted immediately.
  22. Jeff at GNL or Tony at Maximus in Franklin are good guys as well, I've heard good things about stock n barrel as well. Tony is a master gunsmith and knows class3/ nfa very well. Maximus is around the corner from FGS

  24. Thank you, thank you, dom arrigato, kudos, gracias, anyone that thinks dhs could organize an EFFECTIVE  regime of suppression needs to stay on facebook, do a google search on katrina, look at the photos, and search you tube for "our gang" or "the little rascals" to get a glimpse of how things look when ran by "the agencies"...http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YO6Ks77oYo4
