picked up a 9mm 226 from another member here, the thing is pre 2005, has a single dot front and slight v in rear with line in the center. These are not night sights, went to replace the rear sight with a high viz fiber tube kit.The sight is too short for the dovetail height wise. Am I missing something??? correct model sight for 226. any ideas besides returning it??

don't forget you can get an adjustable gas block from bte for under 50 bucks, Pistol tube, spring buffer foam etc from MAS defense as well as other parts to save money barrel as well from MAS, get a compensator from miculek, noveske or JP if your not gonna use a can.Why a geissele trigger?? lotta money for a big pistol trigger, i like geissele too just sayin, you can get a slimline light handguard/rail from ken arnold and save 60 bucks from the start. Ive got 2 blackout pistols under 11.5 and their both heavy as hell, think about saving weight.. i just saved you 260 if you go w a mid grade trigger and a utg slimline rail, the fortis rails are ultralight, hope this helps!!!

Potential buyer arrested during TBI background check

It could have gone public if the media had a lead but I choose to respect the process. Not my "yob" to report....I thought it could get crazy but it didn't thankfully the store handled it well as the clerk had no idea but the mgr knew what the deal was.... I've seen a lot but never this: I went to a big box store to see if they had a scope mount I was looking for. After searching I went to the gun counter and waited while the clerk was busy w a 4470/ background check. The purchaser was someone in a wheelchair that kept dry firing a small 380 or something. The clerk explained he didn't know why it was taking so long for TBI to clear the purchase. Seeing he was free I inquired about what I was looking for and got the answer I didn't want. As I was browsing the aisle a uniformed guy from the pd showed up and at first I thought was going to disarm a young customer who was open carrying in the store. Instead the officer chatted w the person in the wheelchair, put her in cuffs and wheeled her out of the store. Apparently there was a warrant in the system for the buyer. TBI sounded general quarters and the pd showed up... Interesting to see them all being proactive on a Sunday ! ! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

Ken Arnold at hville gun show
Dustbuster replied to Dustbuster's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
I like the fact that besides treating buyers like humans, the man does good business. If it won't fit or work etc bring it back, and, his prices are fair. He knows his products as well. He's helped me w many solutions over the past 3 or 4 years. That's more than I can say for 80% of the usual suspects hawking misc warez at gun shows. Saw David up there as well. Another friend of The TGO crew, even had some powder I was looking for! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling. -

While waiting for something to dry in my dungeon I stumbled across something worse than obamacare or congress, it's called extreme cheapskates on TLC.i like saving as much as anyone else but the adults on this show that are raising kids don't deserve to have them.Feeding a child from a trash can is NOT part of providing a nurturing enviroment. People feeding their families from dumpsters and sharing dirty bath water. Wanna see the epitome of disgusting watch this show.,,nasty nasty nasty Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

If my 45 didn't fit in my back pocket it would be for sale the minute the brown truck hits my door. Sending a free mag and or plastic case is a gesture of good faith but they should have tested the crap outta the XDS, the recall was a sign of complacency. If the pistol had been out for a few years I'd think different. Never thought I'd see crap like this from SA.,.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

Just visited w ken Arnold at hville gun show he's got a new UTG thin rugged full float slotted hand guard . for carbine rifle etc at a very fair price. I've been buying parts and pieces from ken for a while, he's nice to deal with and if something won't work or fit he'll take it back swap it etc to keep customers happy. I mentioned the tgo build everyone's doing and mentioned he has a deal for on rail covers for any of the TGO members that buy one of the new design rails. The UTG stuff has always worked good for my jobs. Ken is our local dealer if you will. Told him I would advise the rest of the troops that he's willing to help support "the build" Enjoy Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

See what kind of response you get, tell em you want 10 cases of 22lr in exchange for showing them how to save 100 grand a year by firing those 4 a holes... Brick and mortar nightmares live... Looks like a tool to rib Sandra Bullock whose also in Austin.I wouldn't buy crap from him.He burned a friend of mine on a bike deal right before the big divorce. He should stick to pornstars and oversized ballcaps....The gun industry doesn't need a degree of lunacy added........... -
