  1. One can debate rights all day long but if someone is pacing the front of my work/ kids school/ public building that reasonably appears to be doing something that is out of the norm that reasonably presents the color of risk where cause of injury is inevitable,I want to see that person validated as safe or high risk. Trolling for cops w a firearm is just stupid....someone's right? Yeah but utterly stupid.... What is there 'left to debate? The style of takedown?? If he pulled that crap in other cities his funeral may have passed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  2. Co called Krebs makes some nice sig add ons this one is the best. Sig 556 series metal safety extension makes throwing the switch a lot easier. Comes with a roll pin, crawling under the sheets not necessary for installation. Price has gone down on em through brownells. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

  10. Thanks David, May the force be with us. I'm not a barrel authority but a lot of folks rave over both w no remorse. Only thing that concerns me about a 300 or other big pistol is the round doesn't stop short of anything As does an ak or others. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  11. The JP should be a dream then especially if it's longer. Great quality I believe you'll love it! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  12. It's heavy, handles well, put rails where u want em. Used Loctite on the tiny screws that hold it to the barrel nut ring. I'm happy w it except for the weight.wish it was lighter. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.

  15. Just wanted to let y'all know this is a great place for rifles, 100,300 and 500 yards is up and running, you can use all 3 at the same time. They have 2 pistol berms as well.they're big on safety, eyes and ears on at All times, clean facility, nice classroom, the guys running it are friendly and professional. They have ammo and targets for purchase there In case you leave home short. It is wheelchair accessible and easy to maneuver. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  16. Did you get one?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
  17. The vacuum thing is plausible. a lot of scams and setups get pre staged. Outside of the larger cities we would see burglaries where the homeowners would get a knock on the door by someone who would offer a small service like gutter cleaning or limb pickup. While talking w the homeowner the salesman/con would ask if his kids could use the bathroom, well most people wouldn't refuse a child needing a potty but these kids were trained to run through the house and look for a safe, money and jewelry. Regardless of getting the job the bad guy knew if he had a worthy target. They would come back usually on a Sunday when the homeowner went to church and hit em hard and fast. There were a lot of kids using bathrooms along hwy 412 between lawrenceburg and lewisburg....there was also a lot of burglaries as well...answer the door if you must, but don't give any indication of anything you have or do to anyone doing a cold call for sales.20 years ago there was a reasonable level of trust pre internet and smart phones like lumberjack indicated and there still can be but...add the fact that today tn is still one of the states w the highest rate of meth use and mfg.some users will go to unheard of lengths to get in your door for money or goods to sell. Many of these incidents don't make the news....be careful some of these bastards are real good at what they do and they pick their prey carefully... 19. It was actually a brake/comp I grabbed off of Amazon earlier this year. I really don't remember it being a mainstream brand but being for 308 and the way it was ported all under 50 bucks got my attention compared to the JP 90.00 version. I had it on another 300 pistol and it worked well w significant diff over a std birdcage. The range neighbors weren't thrilled but it kept it from doing "wheelies" it may get a noveske am still thinking about it. Noise vs rise On the kns pins I brushed the factory Loctite off of the screws as I remembered we talked about kns Loctite issues, and used Loctite 242 blue instead. (I use it on every fastener I remove that doesn't get lubed) The trigger kit is from a 39 dollar lpk.The oem pins were gunked up and were a little loose hence using the kns. After I test fire this, it will get the dolomite trigger upgrade. The best part of putting this together was the peaceful time I had w some good classic rock on the radio, a hot cup of coffee, and zero distractions from phone calls, ol lady, pets etc. The worst part was,the pistol tube has a bologna cut design with a notch where the buffer retainer pin meets the tube . I had a self inflicted ,unexpected launch of the pin and spring but had a recovery nasa would have been proud of cause I vacuumed the shop floor before starting! 21. You were being setup for a robbery or scam either right then or down the road based on your account. Most thieves want in the house, they want to see what you have and test your weak points and assess your home. People are scum and will go to unheard of extremes to pull some crap for a few bucks. Fraudsters will never die off as long as they can feed.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2 of course it ate my spelling.
