  1. I agree . Marlin really has went down hill since Remington took over . I was about to buy a short barreled 30-30 but all of the rifles I saw in this model has misaligned tube magzines and crooked sights. So bad that it was really obvious ! Man this sucks !
  2. Holy Moses !!!! Glad you are ok !
  3. My brother and me did a small "Cannonball Run" through Tennessee in the mid 90's LOL
  4. I am a little picky when it comes to using certain terms like CLIP and MAGAZINE but when a gun manufacturer gets it wrong it is pretty bad I think . Doesn't the item in the picture look like a magazine ? I am pretty sure it is. I know that Remington took over Marlin and since then quality control has went down hill but damn ! 5. The only way an officer could know if someone has a HCP by tag only , and this is a slim chance,  is that he takes the registered name that comes back to the car's plate and asks NCIC to check for a Tn DL by name only and then there is always a crap load of "john Smiths " that will come back . But then the only way to separate the registered car owner's name from the bunch that came back is to try and match up the address on the DL queeries that came back to the one on the plate. This is only a SLIM CHANCE and not many officers will do this. Too long to do after you have stopped him and havent even made it up to the car yet. And still there is no guarantee that the registered car owner is the driver . And some car registrations even have a P.O. box address and this will not match up to a TN DL/HCP which have land addresses .
  6.    Even in the "fast lane"  or the "passing " lane the speed limit must be kept and not exceeded .
  7. Awesome ! My son took his Nerf gun and painted it and modified it with a scope . Good for yours ! Goold ole "know power"
  8. I brake for wildlife , LOL hint hint Squrills , oposums, racoons, ..... LOL . You need to hit the brakes
  9.   Unfortunately only TCA laws here are  good  when the judge approves  :shake:
  10. Heck , my wife and me even love the chances of getting to go through detours and exploring new roads and areas . IT gives us time together and chances to see new areas . Time is not that important , at least when you leave ON TIME ! LOL
  11. I am very easy going but I agree ! 100% !
  12. Well I had a great "kid free" date with my wife of 16 yrs this last  Saturday MINUS the crazy IDIOTIC traffic. We left the kids with Grandma and we had our date. We went to Nashville and it was great except for MORONS who rode my ass and followed too closely ! I swear there were times that people were behind me and I could not even see their headlights ! Oh what I would give to have this happen when I were at work  . Then everywhere we went in the parking lots there were at least 5 people that we saw that were parked over two spaces . We just about got "T-Boned" twice from red light runners . Man , I swear about 20 yrs ago this was never as severe as it is now . I guess I cant complain , Clarksville is worse ! We were in Nashville for our little outing.  I always try to leave some good distance from the car in front of me in case he has to stop in an emergency but some MORON always seems to jump into that area ! That seems to happen in every town . Why are people in so much of a hurry ? I am only 40 and I still leave my house one hour in advance of an appointment or such . OOOHHHHH CURSE WORD !!!!!
  13. Awesome information Craig !
  14. Nah , they dont expire nor fail , at least the Gen 3 , 2, and 1 dont . I cant tell ya from experience .
  15. My wife loves Hamburgers . I know this is kinda off topic because this topic is whether to carry or not there , but is this place REALLY good ? We both love The Pharmacy burger joint so is this better or the same or worse ?
  16. For me I'd prefer the G17 , G34 , or G21 .
  17. I really wanted one of these . But after a long study of them I realized that I cant get parts hardly anywhere . This is what stopped me from getting a Steyr pistol too . I want to be able to buy a gun like a Glock or 1911 and be able to get parts from almost anywhere. And you can do that with Glock and 1911's . I do love the steyrs and this gun but it is just unfortunate .

    Check this out..

When you take out that much metal , you need to compensate for it by modifying the recoil spring weight . But it still "looks" good. But I like to keep my guns stock except on factors that dont affect function .
  19. I swear here lately it seems that gun companies are getting to be like American car companies . Recall and problems all the time.  In the 90's when I turned 18 I never bought a gun that malfunctioned at all. All that I bought worked like a Glock 17 ! Now days it is hit and miss . It is really sad .
  20. I got the one I have now at Dave's shop. I love it and it's so neat to say the least . Kinda like a lightweight version of an  older H&R .22LR revolver that  I stupidly got rid of . My son had the Ruger MKIII but he seems to like my LCR .22LR .
  21. OMG !!! That is hilarious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I once got on the P.A. system (loud speaker) and said out loud " hey I'm on the loud speaker at Walmart. Can you hear me ? I am talking and have a great day at Walmart " hahahahah that was a great time !
  22. You have too much time on your hands to have thought up that  But it does sound neat LOL
  23. LOL  this is funny ! You guys have really neat imaginations .
  24. Anyone ?
  25. Ok nevermind
