1. All I shot was Federal brand ammo.
2. I got me a new Bushmaster back in 2004 . I shot it a few times , maybe 40 rd and then put it up.  Here lately I shot it some more and didn't realize that these AR's get so dirty ! They are awesomely accurate but darn they get sssoooo dirty . My old Egyptian AK never got this dirty but I guess there is always a trade-off for accuracy . I am using the iron sights and it is still amazingly accurate.   Just sharing my experiences. Any thoughts ? What I should do or get for it ?
3. Most of the time yes, but one time at my part-time job I got a Christmas present that was a giftcard. It was $100 giftcard from Walmart  and I wanted an item at another store so I sold it for $90 cash and my friend and me were both happy  But most of the time people do it by stealing an item and returning the stolen item to Walmart for a giftcard.
4. I've did that with accelerator and also wiper blades LOL . It works when you need it .
5. Sorry to bother you guys with this. I just got pissed off at clerks office. I'm off the old soap box now.
6. I know but it still eats my butt about how crappy the clerks office is about it. Plus the plate doesn't function as it should according to law at night and it looks like poop.
7. happens at Walmart all the time with the dopeheads
8. I want to hear you opinion on this . I have a Tn license plate. I have had this one for several years now but no longer than others I have had yet this one has shed about 80% of its reflective material off. And it is still peeling off now. In the dark with my car's plate  illuminations lights , it only shows the "Tennessee" word. The rest is all black where light is not reflected. Even though the paint on the letters is there , when dark outside and the light is shined on it the only thing you see is a big black glob and "Tenessee" above it . I went to the clerk's office to try and get it swapped out. I told them all above. They said it would cost me $14 to have it changed out. I did not agree with that . I said that a standard license plate should last longer than a few years as is the rest of my vehicles plates which are just as old but function great. I told them I wash it and take care of it just like the car it is on and yet it is severely degraded and will not reflect at night and in the daytime you can see the reflective "coating", what is LEFT, still hanging off and peeling. It really looks like crap . It is bad enough to where at night it is enough to violate TCA 55-4-110.   They just blew me off. I then went home and emailed the office before I said something bad in person.  I do not think this wear and tear is my fault. I have never seen a plate wear and degrade this bad before. Yet I am supposed to pay for it according to the clerk's office . By the way in my county we pay $54 a year for plates and I pay for 3 of them so that's $162 a year .  What are your thoughts ?
9. That sucks ! I remember you went through hell with that last big flood
10. Now don't get me wrong , I like .380 but right now I would rather have the Glock 25 and Glock 28 instead of the Glock 42 . The 25 and 28 are tried and tested and work reliably
11. I dont understand how a bad gasket could cause a check engine light to come on unless it involves coolant leakage and or air leakage which would trigger the computer .
12. Hopefully that wont happen . Our warranty is 100,000 miles/7 yrs on the whole car bumper to bumper .
13. I hope you werent one of those scalpers
14. Oh for sure . I am a LEO but a part time mechanic so I do know what I am talking about as far as cars and engines go , so I just went along with his stuff and let it go in one ear and out the other. But the guy from Crest Honda was great. We kept our older car for a spare car and just bought the Honda with no trade-in. The salesman at Crest was cool and that is the fastest I have ever bought a car in my life. We got it way lower than any price I would have thought of.
15. Make them homemade from scratch like we do ! And I am not an old fart either .  I have made my own biscuits all my life from scratch even when I was in my teens . My mom was and still is  a great southern cook .  And if you want , make extra that are raw and freeze them for a quick meal.
16. We just got my wife a new car this weekend . She deserved it . We bought her last one 14 yrs ago new and she has been driving it the whole 14 years . So we went to find a new one. We had a great experience at Crest Honda in Nashville. No problems at all and the experience was great which is really rare for me when buying something so big like a new car. The salesman was cool and never hounded me at all. But at other dealerships that we went to were so so .  Now this car is for my wife. She went to college and graduated later in life to be a teacher so she deserves something nice and besides her car was getting really old and she drives a good ways to school to teach and all. So I wanted her to pick what she wanted. I let her pick what she wanted. I wanted anything Japanese except Nissan. If it were up to me I'd have a Subaru with a longitudinal engine "layout" ( engine in regular placement and not sideways like a front-wheel drive) . She liked Subaru's but went with a Honda Accord. While looking at a different Honda dealership , the saleman asked me what I was looking under the car for and why I was doing this and that. I told him that when we buy a car we keep it for almost ever and I do all the maintenance so I needed to check the clearances and oil filter locations to see how hard it would be do change it and the belts and all. I then mentioned that I'd rather not have a front wheel drive car . He looked at me like I was crazy . He asked why and I explained my aggravation of transverse engines that are "sideways" with the belts and all being so hard to get to and replace. He then put on the " Honda commercial act" about how they hardly ever  need work and this and that. I then told him that I still dont like front wheel drive cars and tranverse engines. He argued this and that and blah blah blah . I know they are there to sell a car that they have but dang , at least try to understand what the customer is saying. If I had it my way , my wife would be getting a Toyota Tacoma like mine with a FRAME and a longitudinal engine and rear-wheel drive with a 4WD option   So we went back to Crest Honda and my wife picked out her Honda . Crest Honda was really cool but the other places sucked butt.   Ok I am off my soap box .
17. Nothing wrong with a 1911 cocked and locked . Like a Glock chambered but the Glock has a better advantage without having to push a lever .
18. I am LEO and even before I was , I liked Glocks for their reliaibility and their few parts they had as compared to other guns with their so many parts and springs and levers . I still like the 1911 platform but only as the 1911 platform was made with the "non external" extractor. My Glock and my Springfield 1911 has been flawless . I just dont trust a SIg 1911 with the external extractor .
19. Thanks BigK , that is good information !
20. awesome !  I got rid of my Beretta only for the fact of so many parts but it did shoot great and reliably !
21.    So if I can see the tapering of the crimp then I have crimped too much ? This has helped me a bunch , thanks .  Any other help is appreciated .
22. I am confused on the crimping of pistol ammunition cases. I am going to start reloading 9mm and I have all the equipment to start but I am still a little confused on the crimping part. I have Lee dies and they include the bullet seating and crimping die . What I dont understand is the crimp. I thought that crimping a bullet causes a little wrinkled ring around the case where the crimper would squeeze it to hold the bullet in place. But according to these bullets I have I must be wrong .I have my duty 9mm and the gold one is a target 9mm . Both have smooth cases. I dont see where the case is squeezed inward to hold the bullet inside . It looks like the bullet is just pushed in . So someone please explain to me the crimping process in plain english . Sorry but I am still learning . Thanks in advance .
23. What kind of powder and what brand is good for starting off making ammo for pistol ammunition ? I have got all my eqiptment and just cleaned my first batch of brass. Now I am ready to prime , resize them and all. But I dont know how to chose a brand of powder nor what kind . Any help is appreciated . Oh I forgot to say that I am going to be reloading 9mm.
24. Same here , that was neat
25. Great job . Hey what does "YHVH" mean ? I thought that was where Lord was supposed to be in that verse .
