1. Yes I have the pistol rotor and metering assembly. I had to get them separate . The only thing I can think of is that I was "jiggling" around the whole unit to "seat-in " the powder under and over that baffle .
2. Oh yes. I cleaned the mess out of it really good and used the Hornady One Shot degreaser and  and even ran a little graphite powder through it .
3.    I have one of those in it. It came with one. But listen to this , maybe I put the powder in wrong : I put the baffle in the empty powder measure. I then poured some powder in the measure. I then "jiggled" the powder measure so that all the powder would go up and under and around the baffle to where the baffle was submerged with powder under and over it it. Could this be my problem ? should I just put the powder in the measure and not jiggle the thing around to get the powder in the crevices and all ?
4. I have the standard powder measure that comes with the Honrady Classic Reloading kit. I just used it last week for the first time. I cleaned it good and am using it correctly as far as I know. I am getting a fluctuation when trying to load 4.8 grains. I'll get 5 then 5.2 then 4.7 .  Anyone with helpfull hints is appreciated !
5.      Awesome ! I got it all done and have shot around 20 or so different loads so far. they are working and cycling the slide in my S&W Shield and my Ruger P94 ! Thanks so much guys !
6. I just shot 10 through my S&W Shield 9mm. They worked great in it. I was kinda worried since the Shield has a strong/tight recoil spring. Worked great :woohoo:  When I am seating and crimping these I am seeing a little brass or copper shavings coming off every now and then . Should I ease back a little on the crimp ?
7. I just shot these 5 rds  into the ground behind my shed (we live in the country)  just to check to see of they would fiunction and cycle the slide properly. I'll make a few more then decide on exactly what I want ,  then make a bunch to take to the range to check for accuracy. I will try these through some different pistols tomarrow. I just thought I'd use the TANK (P94) on my first ones in case , Lord forbid, something bad happened .
8. Hey guys I just loaded them up and they cycled and worked great ! WOW this stuff is really neat and I feel like a kid that just learned to ride a bike . I used 4.9 gr of Power Pistol and used an overall length of 1.115  . I shot them in my Ruger P94. This gun usually makes any 9mm recoil seem light but these cartridges really seemed light in recoil but they did just fine.   Thanks to all you guys for the help
9. Here's a question I just thought of guys : My Hornady book shows that the Maximum Case Overall Length for 9mm is 1.169"  It shows that they used 115 gr FMJ like I am using and they used a Case Overall length of 1.100" and started with 4.8gr of Power Pistol powder   . My question is should I make my cartirdges the same length as them or can I leave mine a little longer but just dont go over the Max COL ?    I am using Power Pistol powder and 115 FMJ bullets. Any help is appreciated
10. The roads are slicker than owl $hit and the wind is colder than a well digger's a$$ .
11. I'm gonna load the powder and primers tomarrow in some brass and do some test firing :ugh: . Mainly hoping for good functioning/cycling right now. I'll worry about accuracy later on. I think I'm gonna test them in my Ruger P94 since it's built like a tank. I'll load them lightly and at the minumum load as I can . Like I mentioned , I'm all new to this so I'm taking baby steps.
12. This is my first attempt at 9mm 115 grain FMJ . These dont have powder nor primers. The COL is good and measured fine. How does my crimp look ? I loaded them in my M&P and hand-cycled them and they chambered and ejected fine. Any information is helpfull and appreciated . 13. M&Pc only becuase it is lighter. My personal preference for a compact .45 is the Glock 30 . Just my $.02 .
14. What do you guys use to clean the preservative oil / packing grease from a new Powder measure ?  Mine is new and has all the oil in it. I just dont want to gum it up with the wrong cleaner and then mess up my powder .
15. Ok guys , I'm now down to my seating/crimp die. I just seated a bullet and it looks good. I just cant figure out how to post a picture right yet . But anyways , How do I set the crimp ? Some say on the Lee's die to set the seating first then some say to set the crimp first . I am flustered ! And Lee's instructions are not clear for me . I need some good ole Tennessee plain english talk :pleased:
16.    I gotcha ! I put some on the inside but lots on the outside. I did this on my others and always use more on the outside . I know that the more you use the more it makes it flimsy/soft so I use it spariling.
17.    Oh I understand now LOL
18.    No offense but I have never seen a new  Springfield Armory Mil-Spec  in the $500 range since 2004  . I just got one a few months ago and it was at a good price but no where near $500 . Where did you see them new for mid $500 ?
19.    I have 3 Aliengear holsters . You cant go wrong for the price and they dont even feel like you have a holster on you at all !
20. It only took 15 minutes LOL HA HA
21. I treated my old natural "raw" leather to a treatment of Neatsfoot oil. Not the compound ,but the real 100% pure Neatsfoot oil . It turned it a nice light brown. I like it . Here's a picture of it with my RIA fullsize . It was originally a bright whitetish creame color .
22.      Good LAWD ! That's awesome !

Glock 42

Are all the bugs out of it yet ? Is it Glock 17 reliable yet ? I'm not trying to hi-jack this thread :usa:
24.    Last month I was in the same boat as you . Wanting a cheaper 1911 that would function relaibly but not with the big price tag. I chose the Rock Island Armoy "GI" model. It is plain with no extra features. I love it . Here is the link to the thread I made and it has the picture.   http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/84996-got-a-all-metal-gun-that-ill-keep/
