1. I am a big Glock fan and all but I still like my old school pistols from when I was coming up. I have been looking for a leather or even maybe a kydex holster for my Ruger P97 . I have only found one from a few companies that were worth anything and not cheap made. The one that catches my eye was Bianchi that had a leather one with three holes to use as a strong side carry and a cross draw. But I still cant find many other ones unless it's a special build from a leather maker. Any of you guys know ? I would love to get an Alien Gear holster for it but they only have the P95 available.
2.    Sir I could talk to you for hours on the XR4TI , the SVO and the Turbo Coupe and never get bored. That information you listed above is awesome
3. So now the music rappers and hip-hop songs can be correct when they use the term "glock 40"  when they are really meaning the Glock 22 or 23 .  But seriously though , that is a sweet looking Glock
4. They will have a segment for the Ecoboost 2.3 liter mustangs to run and show out . I'm really anxious to watch that . I am an old SVO fan from back in the Fox days , the original 2.3 liter along with her two  sisters the Merkur XR4TI and the Turbocoupe. One day I'll get me an SVO .
5.    Are you going to Bowling Green Kentucky this week for the NMRA and all the Mustangs on display and the races ?
6.    Hattie B's Hot Chicken    All the way !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's not fancy and you dont have to dress up and its priced great and most of all it tastes AWESOME !!!!! Plus slide over to Gun And Leather on the outskirts of Nashville to look around .
7.    Richard is a great guy   . I got mine there too. I was going to wait until around Christmas time to get one but I couldnt stand it so I got one. I LOVE IT . I have shot factory rounds and my own reloads through it. It feeds them just fine. It rides in an Alien Gear holster and I have to sometimes check if it is still there , it is THAT comfortable
8. Well I finally got a day off and the finishing this aggrivating job. Here's the Transmission resting level and ready to go up and onto the dowel pins. I never want to do this again with an engine and transmission this tight and so hard to reach .
9. It sucks and I hate it for you. My wife always gets mad at me for rechecking the doors and locks all the time.
10.    Before I put the transmission on I am gonna thread the bolts back in the holes and out a few times with anti-seize grease. This should help if it ever needs to come out again. I use anti-seize grease on all my things that are simliar in situations like this , especially on brake parts.
11.  Well Lord Allmighty we finally got the starter and all transmission bolts off !!! Daaaaammmmmnnnnnnn I am sore. Me and my buddy used a swivel and extensions that measured well over a foot and a half long. We got the starter off by sticking the extensions in from the front and going next to the AC Compressor. Then the two top transmission bolts were a crapper to reach but we got them offf with extentions that were damn near two feet long and a swivel. We destroyed two swivels doing it.  So thanks for all the information guys and gals   Your time and information helped greatly
12. Thanks TGO Dave for that information. We are gonna try one more thing before we get hurt LOL. We do have access to an engine hoist. I have workd on other things but this thng is wwaayyy tighter than I have messed with . It sucks that you dont see any of the transmission from the top of the engine between it and the firwall. The damn engine is smashed right smack up against the firewall. Tighter than a blood filled tick !
13. I got a 2003 Mach 1 that I am working on right now . Trying to take out the transmission to replace the throw-out bearing  . It has he 4.6 liter with the 32 valves and 4 cams. So the top end it WAY big and wide and there is hardly any room to wiggle. So I am trying to unbolt this transmission (5 speed manual) from the underside . I have two problems : 1. I cant get to the two top transmission bolts that bolt it to the engine.                                                        2. I cant get the damn starter removed because of one of three bolts is                                                               so hard to reach . I have tried swivels and and swivels and extemsions and all kinds of crap ! I got it jacked up on blocks and about 1.5 feet off the ground so I'm working on my back and its aggrivating !!!  I know this is a slim chance but does anyone here have any ideas on how to remove or get to the top tranny bolts and starter any easier ?
14. That is some good reading
15.  Just parts in general , like how you can get any parts for Glocks and 1911's just about everywhere. Extractors , pins , connectors , strikers , trigger saftey plungers and so on .
16.    Well said . I agree 100%
17. This is a good thread . Gonna tag it for my future reference.
18. I hate to admit it but the full size Service models are very nice  looking. Like a fancy sports car. If only parts for them were easily available like Glocks , I'd get the full size 9mm .
19.    The XDS feels the same to me too. I have the Glock 30 and I recomend it. Mine is a Gen 2.5 and shoots great and has been 100% reliable. I carry it in an Alien Gear holster and sometimes in the Glock Sports Holster when hunting. It is a little thick but is well worth it.
20. If I go back to Academy Sports I'll make sure to take a few pictures of it. Just looking at it through the package , I could not see any difference in it than from my "01" mags.
21. We had fun . No kids for two days and it was like we were dating again. 18 years married and 19 togather. Driving up there from mddle Tn we found an old radio station that played the older country music from the 70's and 80's so it was an awesome drive up there.
22. My wife and me went to gatlinburg for our 18th wedding anniversary Saturday. We decided to walk up to Clingman's Dome. It was a real thing for my wife since she had her knee rebuilt two years ago. She had to take a few rest's along the way but it was worth it. I was taking her picture and we spotted a rainbow coming up through the clouds that were below us. It was really neat. It was more spectacular in person and the colors of the rainbow were brighter. My cell phone kinda dulled the colors on here but you get the idea. I just thought I'd share this picture. I tried to keep her face out of most of the picture cause she would kick my butt if she knew I put her face up here. Oh and I got to see Bud's Gun Shop and the new Glock Blue colored frames. Those were neat.
23. WOW that was SLICK !!!! HAHAHHAHA Awesome !

Glock

It would be neat to have one . As far as Glocks being ugly , my Glock and my Toyota are ugly to a lot of people yet they keep running and running
25. I was in Academy Sports and saw some Glock 43 magazines that had a "02" on them instead of the newer "01" . Does anyone here know how these ones are different than the newer "01" mags ?
