  1. It happened to me with Alliant Power Pistol . I got worried too . But it was all good . Plus the bottle wasn't all full , like a bag of Lay potatoe chips . So I thought he had sold me a bottle that was half empty . I guess they fill em like Lays LOL .
  2.    Just don't clean your brass too much or too long. That is why I made a post a few days ago about how my brass was sticking inside the die when I was expanding them. I called Lee and they said I was cleaning it too long. I had cleaned my 45 brass for 4 hours. I only cleaned my 9mm for an hour and never had troble outta it .
  3.    Oh my God , don't start a "gun and ammo rush" :biglol:
  4.    You got it buddy :no1:  that was it
  5. I called Lee Precision the other day and the guy said more than likely I had over-cleaned or polished my brass. He told me not to clean it so long and to try some lube on the inside of the cases that I cleaned too much. It worked. I cleaned these brass cases for around 4 hours so I guess I did clean them too much. I normally clean my 9mm cases around one or two hours .  So , you live and you learn :wall:
  6. In .40 S&W caliber glocks , mainly the Glock 22 , There is noticeable wear on the slide underneath it along both slide rails . Just in the middle of the slide. This happens but after a certain amount , it stops and there is no more wear. It happened to 2 of my duty Glock 22's. I have a newer one and it hasn't gotten the wear just yet. Other than that , Glock is an awesome pistol and shows no excessive wear as far as reliability is concerned.  The 9mm and .45acp ones don't get the wear that I described. They look new for years and years .
  7. I am afraid to sand or polish any of the die in fear that Lee wont honor the warranty. I think it may be something simple. I will try some different things tonight when I get home from work  and let you guys know as soon as I try it. I'll try backing out the expander die , then lubing the cases , then slowly expanding it and see what happens.  I have read that some people say that after a certain amount of cases , the die gets smoother .
  8. I did take some alcohol and clean out the inside area of the die. Maybe I cleaned it too much and that's why it's sticking ?
  9.   I am just expanding them out just enough to barely stick the bullets into the case. Just enough to where the bullets will stay when I put them on during seating them . I will try to back it out some tonight and try some lube and see what happens.
  10. I have a new Lee Carbide dies set in .45acp . With the expander die the case goes in good but is very hard to lower the ram and case. I looked on the Internet and some say it's normal and this and that. I don't use lube since it's a carbide die. The brass I'm using has only been shot once since new by me. Anyone have any ideas ? I've only belled just around 40 cases with it so far.
  11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kMpwne18bJg   HAHAHAHAHA
  12.    yeah A lot of people near me use Guineas on their place to run around and eat up the bugs and ticks.
  13.    True but I hunt deer and squrril a lot. I butcher my own meat and so I would bring him lots of fresh game meat . Which is all natural and antibiotic free. He loved it but now he cant have it .  Red meat is good for you as long as it is natural. Deer and even cows that are left alone to graze and not fed antibiotics and feed and corn have omega fatty acids that are great for your blood and body . Just like Salmon .  But when they are fed grains and corn then that's when things are not good.  So red meat is good for you but only when it is natural .
  14. I just cleaned a bunch of my .45ACP cases and sorted through them all dividing up the small and large primer pockets .  Are the small primer pocketed ones going to matter much as far as reloading for target and plinking  ammo ? Should I load them with the regular recommended powder grains ?  It seems that most of my small primer pocketed 45acp cases are Federal .
  15. I'd have to pick the Glock 17 (9mm) or the Glock 21 (45acp) . The Glok is so easy to operate , it has VERY few parts , and has no large take down levers , and safety levers and such sticking out of the side like the Beretta does.  People say that soldiers "need" a mnual safety . I say that if they can't learn to keep their finger or foreign debris out of the trigger guard then they need more training .  I have carried the Glock pistol for over 18 years on my job and have found it to be extremely user friendly and just plain reliable and tough.  This isn't rocket science . But then again you are talking about government crap and anything government related doesn't use common sense .
  16.      The doctors at Vanderbilt did say that some people's bodies can "reset" themselves after a long time away from mammal meat . My brother tried that after several years but it didn't work well. He now even gets badly sick when eating some things made with milk.
  17.    It's crazy , and sounds crazy but look it up on google or such . My bother finally got diagnosed by Vanderbilt Hospital after 2 years of terrible sicknesses and such . They said that this is a big thing that is in the southeastern part of the US .
  18. Some people just don't get what I tell them about my brother , but this will change your WHOLE life . He cant eat at a regular restaurant or other things unless they can for sure cook the food away from mammal meat . I deer hunt and eat lots of deer meat so when I hunt and it's still warm I am very carefull with these ticks.  I cant imagine not being able to not eat deer , cow , nor pork. And for that mutton , goat , and so on.  I even treat my pets more now due to Alpha Gal . I don't want them giving me a tick bite from the Lone Star
  19. It's warm again and ticks are coming out . Be careful . My brother has Alpha Gal and has had it for several years . he got bit by a Lone Star tick and can't ever eat mammal meat again  . For you guys who forgot biology , that means no more beef , pork , squiril , deer , and on and on . He can only eat birds , reptiles and fish as far as meat goes . The Lone Star tick carries the Alpha Gal carbohydrate and or protein I think  it's called . My brother got bit by one and now carries an EPPI-Pen in case he ever accidently eats something with mammal meat in it . If he does the mammal meat will damn near kill him . The simplest things can have mammal meat in them like hot dogs and even gravy. Good news for him , he discovered a few years ago that he can eat a RED MEAT that is from a BIRD . It's an EMU . I even tried some . I cant tell the difference in appeareance , taste , nor texture from cow meat . It's AWESOME . But the Alpha Gal disease is a bad thing and will change your life forever if you ever get bit with the right Lone Star tick . So be carefull out there while in the grass and woods !
  20. Thanks guys . He was thrilled . He's learning to detail detail strip it now. I kinda wanted him to start out on one of my old Ruger P-Series to understand the conventional double action/single action semi-autos but he loved shooting the Glock 17 in the past so that is what I went with . He has shot my P-Series and likes them but seems to like the Glock slightly better.   I had always kept a Glock 22 hidden in the house to where him and me knew where it was in case of emergency . Now he has his own pistol to get out in case of emergency .
  21.    Well until it was destroyed by a drunk driver , I had a 1989 Toyota Tercel , hence my user name . It was the one of the last carbureted Toyotas made . It got 50 MPG , better than some Hybrids now days . I got on the average of 475-500 miles on a tank of gas .  Over 300,000 miles no problems . If you find one in good shape snag it up !
  22. I know everyone has seen a Glock 17 but I bought this several years ago used , oiled it up , stored it away for my son, and now today is the day :no1: My son is 18 years old today and we are so proud of him ! He has awesome grades in school and in 2 months will be going to college to become a history teacher . He has never gotten in trouble , has gotten great grades , and just a great son . When he was smaller he would watch me shoot and he loved it . I got him a small Marlin bolt-action single shot 22LR . He did great . He learned to shoot my Glock 22 and my personal Glock 17 . He loved them . He even has wanted me to show him how to reload 9mm and we are in the beginning stages of that . So when he gets home from school today , his Mom , Sister , and I have an awesome surprise for him ! I am so excited for him . He has no idea about this . I am so excited to see his face that it's like I am the one getting a present ! Sorry to ramble on and just wanted to share . [Uercel89/media/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_2975_zpswamhdxrc.jpg.html][/URL]
  23. WOW you have got some talent !
  24.    Good to know. I shoot half of my 45 reloads in my G30 . YOu think it was just a bad or hard primer?
  25. Thanks to you all !
