  1. They'd be perfect for my little single stage press while the kids are at school and the wife at work.
  2. Thanks for the information guys. I think I'll continue to shoot it as I do now which is about 100 rds a month. just popping a few at a metal plate out back. I may just get some 380 dies to play around with some loads on rainy days. Thanks again guys for the information.
  3. I have a Ruger LCPII and it's been great. I am wanting to know if it's a high mileage gun like some guns that go maybe 20,000 rds or so ? I reload and I am thinking about getting some dies to reload the .380ACP to shoot more with my LCP . I just didn't know if these guns are limited to a certain amount of rounds before they start wearing down .
  4. Hey , if you don't mind could you post a picture of the HS2000 ? So neat to see them without the XD and S.A. logo on them. I remember when they came out and I was at a gunshow off I-24 near the Hickory Hollow exit. Maybe around year 2000. It was some kind of event center which is now an 18 wheeler dealer ship I think. The Hs2000's were like around $275 . I was looking at them and thought about buying one but was not sure about them since it was so cheap. I sure wish I had gotten one now.
  5. Now that is a SWEET deal ! I have that one and the Mod2 4" also . They run extremely well.
  6. Damn we are getting old !!!
  7. I was watching some reviews and in the next video I watch where some guy was watching Beretta's Youtube channel and in the background was an APX in a very thin single stack configuration with no light rail. Someone was test firing it in the background while the speaker was talking about trigger pull on striker guns.. He said he went back later to try to screen shot the picture of it and the video was taken down. I sure hope they go with more than 6 or 7 rounds. The APX double stack 9mm is an awesome gun. The only polymer pistol I'd say was up to Glock 17 standards and I'm a big Glock fan. Mine feels very thin even though its a double stack. I guess we will see in a few months.
  8. Hell yeah LOL !! I love that
  9. I don't like Daytime running lights cause it's hard to poach deer and such during night time hours . Just kidding !! HAHAHA
  10. Same here with me
  11. This is a video and song sang by Jim Breuer who is a comedian and was "Goat Boy" on Saturday Night Live back in the day. Funny guy . He is presently a comedian but loved Heavy Metal from the 80's . He sings this song which he sings pretty awesomely ! He references Ozzy , Judas Priest , Metallica , Dio , ACDC , and on and on . My wife even liked it . Funny video and the song is really nice too. Just thought I'd share .
  12. Sorry , I am kinda confused . I just tried to take my G22 slide off without pulling the trigger and it wouldn't come off. Forgive if I am missing something. I am definitely interested though.
  13. Does it seem that the striker is what keep the whole slide on ? until I can handle one , to me it seems that the little tang on the bottom of the striker is what keeps the slide on. If that is correct , it seems like that would be a lot of pressure on that little nub .
  14. Are you talking about taking the pins out instead of the regular way ?
  15. Kroger band hot sauce is like $0.98 a bottle . It is vinegar , ground Cayenne , water and Xantham gum , which I think is to thicken it up . That stuff is cheap and tastes great ! I use it all the time. My wife hates hot sauce but she likes this stuff.
  16. I agree but when the Manufacturer's manual says the trigger needs to be pulled these people still go nuts ! LOL
  17. This may have been posted here before , heck I may have posted this before but anyways , I just watched a few of the Mossberg pistol videos and everyone is so happy of how you don't have to pull the trigger to disassemble it. My question is this : Why the heck are so many people scared to pull the trigger to disassemble an EMPTY gun ? I have never understood this. It' so bad that some people wont buy Glocks and others like them. It isn't rocket science. Just clear the gun and take it apart. But now the new generation has taken over and making newer guns with things to where you don't have to pull that DANGEROUS TRIGGER. I honestly want to know what the big deal is . Clear the gun and you're good to go . Ok my rant is over .
  18. S.A. XD9 9mm a time tested 9mm handgun for $299 at PSA . There's no way I'd blow any money on a Hi-Point when I could save a little more and get this. https://palmettostatearmory.com/springfield-xd-defenders-series-9mm-3-pistol-black-xdd9801hc.html
  19. I bought my old G22, that was assigned to me, a year ago and put in a 9mm conversion barrel. Works just like a G17. I changed out my extractor and the spring loaded bearing from .40 to 9mm so it's pretty much a 9mm pistol now. I kept the .40 ejector in it since it hits the rim better than the .40 ejector. I think that's because the conversion barrel moves the chamber over just a bit. I did run it with all the .40 parts and just the conversion barrel and it still ran great. So at those prices at AIM you could make a great 9mm project gun.
  20. Do any of you guys know a place that sells these Snagmags instead of having to buy them online ? Somewhere around middle tn ? Looks like a great idea but I'd like to try one out in person before I buy. Thanks for any information.
  21. Holy Moses , I just looked at the catalog and their website, The prices are unreal !
  22. Amen on the P6 / 225 and the old ford trucks especially with the old straight 6 .
  23. I may have said this in another topic but I'll say it again : After living through the "Clinton Assault weapon ban" in 1991-2004 , I may have one gun that only holds 10 rounds , but just one. If I can help it , most of my 9mm's will be the type that can accept larger mags like the G26 that can accept a Glock 33rd magazine. I don't wear a "tin Foil hat" but it sure seems like a lot of companies are going to slim single stack 10 rounds or less and not doing anything with the glock 26 types. I know people want thin and small but after being limited to only 10 rounds at the most from 1994 to 2004 , I'm gonna stick with my double stacks even if they are a bit thick. I still have my itty bitty small guns like my Ruger LCPII and such but my bread and butter are my G26 , G30 , and XD9SC . They are small but can accept it's full size brother's magazines.
  24. LOL I didn't mean it towards you , just towards the company setting it so high. I like Glock and anything simple like them with very few parts but that dude is tooooo expensive ! . yeah I was just messing with ya !
