    CZ 75

That old girl is a beauty !
  2. I'm a new 10mm owner and have never shot or owned one before. I got a screaming deal on a like new Glock 29. What are some things to watch out for , beware of , or good things to do with these and if you are a reloader , can you load bunny fart light loads with 10mm ? I reload 9mm and 45acp. Any information is appreciated. Also , do any of you use a .40sw conversion barrel in them for cheaper practice sessions?

I have the P07. It's a great pistol and not very heavy. It has a polymer frame.

    CZ 75

The 75 is the grandfather of the P10. The P10 is striker and the 75 is hammer fired. I have 2 other 75 series and they do make a great shooter out of a normal shooter. Very straight and flat. The all steel construction makes the recoil very soft.

    CZ 75

I stopped at a pawn shop down the ways from me that I visit here and there. The other day I noticed this CZ75 sitting in the corner. It's a plain jane 75 but it's hardly been fired and the price was only $333. There is no more striker pistols nor plastic pistols that I want. I have got to where now I am shooting my metal hammer guns a lot more and having fun. I think it's called getting old. The CZ75 platform in my opinion is right on line with the Beretta 92 series and the Ruger P-Series. These three platforms simply run and run. Good ole DA/SA with a hammer and the ability to carry cocked-and-locked or DA with the hammer down. It's heavy and well made. It has the old school original style innards and not the new "Omega" innards. I am very surprised to find this at this price with the crazy high guns prices I have been seeing lately. Thought I'd share. The wet looking stuff around the slide-stop and safety-lever is oil.
  6. WOW thats a great deal ! My first S&W was the 915 back in 1996. Great gun and damn fine price ! Glad for you. I am in the process of show and tell of my find last week but this deal is a way cooler one since they are no longer made.
  7. Always the good stuff is in the east
  8. My favorite's are my Beretta M9 and my Ruger P89. The Beretta's barrel stays straight and level which makes the rounds load straight in from the magazine to the barrel with no feed ramp needed. It's very hard to get one to jam. It runs and runs. That is why I like it. The Ruger P89 is just a big overbuilt reliable pistol. The neat thing about it is when it cycles , it seems to cycle just a tad bit slower than other pistols. It kind of sounds like "kachunk Kachunk" everytime the slide cycles. It will handle the lightest loads that you can make and the hottest loads too. I reload but never make any hot loads but many reloaders use these P-Series to test hot loads. They are that overbuilt and on the thick side but they are reliable.
  9. We've got a Kabota 48 inch with a Kawasaki engine. It's nice but the ground needs to be level and dry. I hate any zero turns when it comes to wet ground. They get stuck all the time on the slightest bit of hill with wetness. On my old conventional John Deere (engine in front and rear wheel drive) I never got stuck. I get stuck quite a bit with this zero turn. I have an acre but I mow my mother-in-laws place too but its several acres. The speed is the only thing that helps with lots of land.

    Taurus G3C

As far as I know is the loaded chamber indicator , the Tenifer treatment on the G3 , and the sights on the G3.

    Taurus G3C

I didn't know until today that the G3C can now be purchased with no manual safety.

    Taurus G3C

Do you remember what brand of ammunition had the light strikes ?

    Taurus G3C

Any new Taurus G3C owners lately ? I am still wondering how these G3C's are holding up after a few hundred or 1,000 rds.
  14. Guntersville Lake is where a youtuber guy called Richard Gene The Fishing Machine makes a lot of videos fishing. I've been there a few times. Pretty neat area and yes , on the outskirts it is a Deliverence type looking area . I'd like to fish that area one day.
  15. Get a burger at Burger Master in Townsend . They're pretty good.
  16. Nah , I still gotta get a P85. The 85 was the first one that started the whole P-Series.
  17. I found this little orphan the other day at a pawn shop while looking for some metric tools. This one is the first polymer pistol that Ruger made. The previous one I showed here was the second generation P95. This one has the squared trigger guard and no light rail. This one is decock-only which is nice. This one has rode in the floor board of a truck or inside tool box but shot very little. Lots of wear on the outside but the innards are almost mint.

    Rex Zero One

It's nice looking. I've been meaning to read up on them. Let us know if it proves to be reliable.
  19. I think the main thing here is how the spotlights are blinding people as they drive by the Deputy/Officer/Trooper or whoever. I dont do it and neither do anyone else I know. I haven't seen it either when driving on interstates. People saying that they are doing it to see if you have seat belts on ? Man, you must have some good eyes because there's no way I could see inside a moving vehicle and determine anything if a vehicles is going 70+mph in the dark with a blinding light shining on it for a fraction of a second. At very rare times LEO will spot light cars to check for certain ones if they are looking for a felony suspect that has just happened near that area and the make color and model of the car is know that the suspect left in. But just sitting in he median or road side with the light on is a hazzard to drivers and could blind them. I would say it's accidental and the person left it turned on. I have did it before with overhead lights. But if this is a repeated thing over and over again i say it's intentional and you could call 911 and say that a unit in the area is blinding drivers with a spotlight turned on.
  20. Hey look , the .40 is $10 cheaper
  21. yeah , I was thinking the same thing : Definitely Sandy Hook era prices.
  22. I never thought I'd see prices higher than a certain gun store near I65 ,,, but today I stopped in to a gun store that has average prices and where I've purchased from in the past. They had a whole lower shelf full of the SD9 and SD40 pistols for $585. I had to double check the tags. They were correct. These are $300-$350 guns all day long but dang man ! This was unreal . Nearly twice the going price is just unreal. Are gun prices jumping up high in you alls neck of the woods or is this shop just full of Bantha Fodder?
  23. Our 14 year old daughter is a rare breed. She prefers to be around her mom and me all the time. She wants to be with us 24/7. Unlike every other teenager.. So we had to get very firm with her. Man that food was GREAT
