My favorite's are my Beretta M9 and my Ruger P89. The Beretta's barrel stays straight and level which makes the rounds load straight in from the magazine to the barrel with no feed ramp needed. It's very hard to get one to jam. It runs and runs. That is why I like it. The Ruger P89 is just a big overbuilt reliable pistol. The neat thing about it is when it cycles , it seems to cycle just a tad bit slower than other pistols. It kind of sounds like "kachunk Kachunk" everytime the slide cycles. It will handle the lightest loads that you can make and the hottest loads too. I reload but never make any hot loads but many reloaders use these P-Series to test hot loads. They are that overbuilt and on the thick side but they are reliable.

We've got a Kabota 48 inch with a Kawasaki engine. It's nice but the ground needs to be level and dry. I hate any zero turns when it comes to wet ground. They get stuck all the time on the slightest bit of hill with wetness. On my old conventional John Deere (engine in front and rear wheel drive) I never got stuck. I get stuck quite a bit with this zero turn. I have an acre but I mow my mother-in-laws place too but its several acres. The speed is the only thing that helps with lots of land.

As far as I know is the loaded chamber indicator , the Tenifer treatment on the G3 , and the sights on the G3.
-
I didn't know until today that the G3C can now be purchased with no manual safety.
-
Do you remember what brand of ammunition had the light strikes ?
-
Any new Taurus G3C owners lately ? I am still wondering how these G3C's are holding up after a few hundred or 1,000 rds.

That is a mighty fine looking polymer pistol. One of the best looking polymer pistols in my opinion.

If I'm not mistaken , this is the 3rd P220 two-toned on here in the last 3 months. Pretty popular pistols. Nice looking too.

Guntersville Lake is where a youtuber guy called Richard Gene The Fishing Machine makes a lot of videos fishing. I've been there a few times. Pretty neat area and yes , on the outskirts it is a Deliverence type looking area . I'd like to fish that area one day.

Get a burger at Burger Master in Townsend . They're pretty good.

Nah , I still gotta get a P85. The 85 was the first one that started the whole P-Series.

I found this little orphan the other day at a pawn shop while looking for some metric tools. This one is the first polymer pistol that Ruger made. The previous one I showed here was the second generation P95. This one has the squared trigger guard and no light rail. This one is decock-only which is nice. This one has rode in the floor board of a truck or inside tool box but shot very little. Lots of wear on the outside but the innards are almost mint.

It's nice looking. I've been meaning to read up on them. Let us know if it proves to be reliable.

Question about police parked on the side of the road at night
tercel89 replied to jeff43's topic in General Chat
I think the main thing here is how the spotlights are blinding people as they drive by the Deputy/Officer/Trooper or whoever. I dont do it and neither do anyone else I know. I haven't seen it either when driving on interstates. People saying that they are doing it to see if you have seat belts on ? Man, you must have some good eyes because there's no way I could see inside a moving vehicle and determine anything if a vehicles is going 70+mph in the dark with a blinding light shining on it for a fraction of a second. At very rare times LEO will spot light cars to check for certain ones if they are looking for a felony suspect that has just happened near that area and the make color and model of the car is know that the suspect left in. But just sitting in he median or road side with the light on is a hazzard to drivers and could blind them. I would say it's accidental and the person left it turned on. I have did it before with overhead lights. But if this is a repeated thing over and over again i say it's intentional and you could call 911 and say that a unit in the area is blinding drivers with a spotlight turned on. -
Hey look , the .40 is $10 cheaper

yeah , I was thinking the same thing : Definitely Sandy Hook era prices.
