It uses all magazines. All generations. That's the good thing about Glock double stacks. They all take the same magazines. I have a Glock 19 Gen 2 made in 1991 and it uses all Generation magazines.

Nah they are hard plastic. They feel and work great. I'm glad they are hard plastic so that your shirt will slide down over it. Some rubber grips will catch on your shirt and let everyone see what you are carrying.

I stumbled up on these 1911 grips made by Magpul. Their magazine release-button cut-out portion is pretty useful. It makes a big difference when you go to access the magazine button to eject a magazine. I'll post some pictures below. Check out how thin the grips make the gun look and feel where the cut-out is for the magazine release button. They only cost $19. I ended up getting some for my other 1911. I shoot my 1911 a bunch and this makes it even more fun and comfortable. Feels a lot more thinner.

I just added a 3rd 18rd factory magazine to this. So you get 3 18rd factory magazines in all. I shot this when I bought it new. I only used the one magazine , so the other 2 are brand new. All in all the whole gun is brand new except for the few rounds that I shot through it as I always do to insure that it works correctly. I do this with any gun I buy.

On M&P's that will shoot without a magazines inside it , they will have writing on the right side of the slide saying "caution: capable of firing with magazine removed" . I didnt' see it on the one you posted so I was wondering if it has a magazine safety-disconnect ? On a few , and I mean few factory replacement slides , the "caution label/writing" will not be there. The best way to try to check for it is to rack the slide on an empty gun WITHOUT A MAGAZINES INSERTED and try to dry-fire the gun. If it will not dry-fire then it DOES have the magazine safety.

I don't see the usual writing on the right side of the slide. Does it have the magazine safety disconnect ? Where it won't shoot without the magazine ?
