    Sig Sauer P290

When I looked at them from the front , the barrel looked really thick . Is is that thick throughout the entire length of the barrel ?
  2. No its clean.
  3. Find a used Beretta Mini Cougar in .45acp . They are gggrrreeeaaatttt ! Compact and have the rotating barrrel design.
  4. I have a tiller and cant seem to get it started and running . Here are the symptoms: I crank it and it wont start. I then spray gas into the carb and it starts for a few seconds then stops. It has fire to the plug . I know that . I have took off the fuel tank, cleaned it out and the line too . I have took off the carb and cleaned it out . I took off the float bowl and clean it too . Still it only runs a few seconds with a splash of gas to the carb and then quits . The carb only has an idle adjustment screw . I dont see any other adjustment needle or valves . It is a Brigg and Stratton 6hp engine .
  5. What Karnage said is correct.

  7. That is just PURE TALENT!!!! AWESOME JOB on both !!!!!!
  8. I have always been a heavy metal type rock n roll guy and I still am at age 38 but I tell you that this song has got to be my favorite especially now that I am a father of 2 little ones. It is a country song . I heard it when I was little . I liked it when I was little in the 80's but I heard it a while ago and it is stuck in my head , What a quality song ! 9. I had a Tomcat and not once a problem but I have heard all the horror stories of the frame cracks . SO I was wondering if there is any problems with the Bobcats ? How are their reliability in .22 and .25 ? What are your thoughts on the Bobcat ? I have always wanted the Jetfire but they are so few and far between .
  10. what is the hard part ? The frame or slide ? I did the slide on mine with no problem .
  11. What other gun forums are there in Tn or that deal with Tennesseans like us ? Just curious.

    Good Deal on XD?

Well Honda means superior reliability and quality , so that would be , yes , of course a CZ !
  13. It felt like the roll pin was gonna bend or flatten out . It didnt but I guess I was just scared it would . I just like good solid pins . I had to really hit it hard .
  14. Here it is . All I have to say is **** roll pins ! I am used to Glock's regular pins and these roll pins suck a** . I am happy with the way it looks and very happy about how it "thins" up the pistol and gets rid of the large safety levers on each side . One thing I dont like is how you can see some of the trigger bar on the right side of it . I only took a pic of the left side . But overall I am happy . I just hate these crappy roll pins . My XD9 has roll pins and Lord help the day I have to take it apart .
  15. I see the picture but how do they stay attached to the frame ?
  16. I called and they are not sending out anymore .
  17. HAHHAHA Capbyrd , that's awesome ! I am the same way . I try to use good grammer as much as I can except when drunk (hehe). But that is awesome and you fixed it great .
  18. I was gonna buy one until I found out that it HAD NO ROTATING BARREL . I think that was the whole PX4 idea . I love the rotating barrel system but I just decided on not getting it based on this . I just went with a Stoeger Cougar and never looked back .
  19. +1 . I use Mobil 1 Synthetic 20w50 . Not too thick and not too thin . JUST RIGHT
  20. I just got an awesome trade . I got a S&W M&P40c . It has the thumb safety . I know how to take it out but wanted to know if anyone here has done it . It will leave a small void on both sides of the frame . I am not worried about it and dont think it will be a trash-magnet hole . Just wondering if anyone has did this and how it turned out . I know there are frame plugs for these holes/voids but I dont understand how they fit in there .
  21. +1 on Tn Gun Country . Dave the owner is a good friend and has a nice staff as well as good prices .
  22. WOW thats cool on that 1911 you built . As I always say I prefer function over fashion . That is nice .
  23. D&T Arms has the M&P's with regular sights for $515 ! What a deal !!!!Just seen that today . This is the regular M&P's with "iron sights" which includes compacts and fullsize with 4.25" barrels
  24. Thats is what I was thinking . They kinda got "stuck" with guns they paid higher prices for .
