How was the picture or signal on the converter box ? Where did you get it at ?

We currently have Direct TV . We have had them for 9 years and never had a problem. I called about a problem and I am getting some very negative feedback from them. So I want to know if any of you guys/gals have the "converter" box or whatever it is called that allows you to watch the normal "free channels" that we used to get before a few years ago before antennas went out the door ? If you have them, where do I get one and how much does it cost ? Thanks in advance . I am getting ready to cancel satellite TV and save about $70 .

I was raised by getting my butt busted with a belt or switch from a tree/bush. I turned out pretty well. SO we do that to our kids . If a bad word comes out of their mouths , their mouth gets popped by my hand or their mom's hand and so on . SO far my son (14 yrs old) has turned out to be a fine young man , he is 14 yrs old and is 6 foot tall ! But a good polite young man . I love him so much . He asked me to go to the mall with his friend the other day and I said no , He said ok daddy , and that was it . If I let him hang out there with that trash , there is no telling what could happen . My wife and me take him and his friends to family places and such to have fun . We still go to the mall but they stay near us .

I think it is supposed to add extra life and prevent wear to the barrel . I have it in my Cougar and my M9 .

I bought a Minotaur Comptac holster at the Lebanon Gun Shop. They let me use one of their guns for sale to check the fit in this holster that I was buying. Most places dont let you do that for fear that it may cause scratches to the gun for sale, but they did . They rock ! They are awesome and very friendly. I will always go back there. Plus the lady there with the glasses is very pretty !

My wife and me were there last night and I didnt notice any gun buster signs anywhere. I tell you what , I sure was like a kid in the Lego store! WOW that Lego store is cool even if I am 39yrs old! I still have a Lego model of a helicopter that I made myself back in 1980 . But back to the topic , I looked and saw no gun buster signs.

I think the M&P Shield is a great idea , but I still like a good double stack . I like to send a swarm of 9mm honey bees toward my attacker

You seem to have a lot of talent ! I'd love to do that with my lanyard that I made for my Swiss Army Knife .

I am a pretty good mechanic , at least that is what my friends and all think . So I know a good deal of mechanic work. So why is it that a motorcycle driver (yes a driver not a rider , because a driver is in control) revs his engine at a stop light while standing still ? If your engine is in that bad of condition to where you have to rev it constantly , then you may need help . This is just a thought and wonder to me . I do ride motorcycles and and work on almost all engines but this "rev rev and rev" at every street light is annoying . Just my $.02 .

I read on here, I think, that Monday there was going to be a show done on Glock. Does anyone here know what I am talking about ?I am trying to find it on the Internet so I can possibly watch it . Whenever it was I missed it .

Has anyone been to Rivergate mall recently ? Especially on a weekend night ? Well my wife and me were out on a date togather without the kids . We went out for supper and thought we would stroll through Rivergate mall to walk around and enjoy not having the kids with us. Well wrong move !!! I swear that the majority of the people there were juveniles.My wife says about 80% looked to be under 18 and looked like TROUBLE just waiting to happen . They were all just congragating everywhere. In the aisles and all over the place . Blocking the ways for you to walk , running , grabbing their girlfriends butt's in front of everyone and using all kinds of vulgar language.Pants hanging down near their knees where their underwear was showing ,,, good Lord! That is the way and I think the reason that Hickory Hollow Mall went out of buisness. It seems that all the thugs have went to Rivergate mall. We did our shopping and got out of their . I hadnt been there in a year and I have never seen it that bad. Anyways I just couldnt believe how crappy it was.

These moms would leave me licking the box! Opps !!!! Did I say that ???? !!! hahahahaha!!!!!

I may even send this post to the girls scouts. Not to start anything but to help them ! Heck , you never know ! It may help them if their policy changes!

I just made a beer run to the store. I was approached by some girls selling girls scout cookies. Now I am a 38 yr old father and I have a 14 yr old and a 4 yr old. I would love to help them and all but why do they always sell the "premanufacured cookies" ? I know they can get them cheap and all but even though I am only 38 yrs old , I am old fashioned. If they would make the cookies from scratch with their moms and such I would pay DOUBLE!!!!! My son was in the cub scouts and I know the dues and all. But if they would just make the cookies them selves and that would even bring "mom and daughter " togather even closer. I would buy a CRAP LOAD!!!!!! Just my simple observation and what I think.

It was at no fault at all to the store . the store is great and I am a long time customer , the fault is the idiot that came in with the loaded rifle.

I was with my little girl and we were at a gun shop yesterday. I was waiting to look at a gun at the counter. A nice well dressed man comes in with some AR/M4 type rifles. I think he was trying to trade or sell them. Now this guy looks like a well to do fellow and like he knew a decent amount of knowledge on guns. Well he shows and tells the guy behind the counter what he wants out of the rifles . They look like nice rifles. Well the store clerk picks up one of the rifles and does a good safety check and guess what ? A LIVE ROUND EJECTS WHEN HE PULLS THE ACTION OPEN!!!!! WOW!!! I couldnt believe it. The store clerks eyes got as big as mine. I accidently said "holy crap" out loud , the guy next to me looked like he was surprised too . But the guy that brought in the rifles didnt seem phased at all (idiot) . There were people crowded in there along with 3 small children (one was mine) and this rifle was chambered and ready to go while this guy brought it in waving it around and all. IT is amazing at how people are sometimes. I have made mistakes before but man that was crazy dangerous.
