Have you pulled your SLR-104FR out of layaway yet?

Thank you! That particular photograph was taken at the summit of the Bell Rock looking out towards Sedona. My fiancee and I had the pleasure of traveling up and down Arizona State Route 89A during our trip last week. We spent the last 7 days in Sedona, Monument Valley, + the Grand Canyon. On our second to last day, we traveled from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon to Page to view Horseshoe Bend + the Upper Antelope Canyon. Congratulations on the acquisition! May you enjoy it in the best of health.

Welcome to the dark side, my friend!

The wait is officially over, my friends! I was at the Nashville Armory this afternoon filling out my Form 1 paperwork to SBR my Draco AK. Lo and behold, my tax stamp arrived while I was completing my paperwork. My suppressor was in jail for 197 days, but I am thankful that I had the opportunity to put it through its paces while it sat in transfer. This is my first tax stamp + I will have several more trickling in until the following January. My nightstand gun is officially complete!

A man after my own heart! You built a fine rifle. I am submitting my paperwork tomorrow to Form 1 my Draco + PAP M92. Once my paperwork has been approved, I will be adding a triangle side folder to the Draco + a underfolder to the PAP M92. You cannot go wrong with a UltiMAK optics mount. I have one mounted on my Arsenal SLR-107FR and it has functioned without a hitch. Here is an example of a PAP M92 with a triangle side folder + UltiMAK optics mount.

I purchased a Draco via Atlantic Firearms last year + I sold it within the first week of having it in my possession. I used the funds to purchase a plum Arsenal SLR-107FR. I do not regret selling the Draco, but I eventually knew that I would have to replace what I sold. This past Sunday, I went through with my promise and I purchased a Draco from Atlantic Firearms. By Monday, I had already received my shipping confirmation and I picked her up from my FFL this afternoon. A special thank you is owed to Atlantic Firearms for their lightning quick shipping and their flawless track record with me over the years. They are highly recommended in my books! Last and but not least, I will be submitting my paperwork to Form 1 the Draco alongside my PAP M92 by the end of this week. Once my paperwork has been approved, I will be adding a triangle side folder to the Draco + a underfolder to the PAP M92. I am replicating this exact build for my Draco. I ordered my Dead Air Wolverine PBS-1 suppressor from Capitol Armory on Tuesday night. The Wolverine PBS-1 is aesthetically patterned after the original PBS-1. Dead Air Armament Wolverine PBS-1

Good man! I actively post on the AK Files + the AK Forum under the same handle. My fiancée is in the minority!

For the first time in well over a year, I stopped by a Dick's Sporting Goods location to view their inventory. They had a plethora of 22 LR in various flavors on the shelf. However, they had one particular offering on the shelf that caught my eye. They are currently running a "Buy 1/Get 1 50% off" deal with bulk packs of Federal AutoMatch Target. For every two that you purchase, your bulk packs are $18.74 before tax. http://i640.photobucket.com/albums/uu125/986S/C3911A87-0852-400F-9445-AC1C4EF7F4B1_zpsw

For what it is worth, I am not married nor have children. Guilty as charged! Yes! Do you own any AK's, my friend?

My fifth WASR 10 followed me home this evening.

Two weeks ago, I purchased my very first parts kit. Fellow forum member Hershmesiter sold me a numbers matching Egyptian Crutch Kit. If all goes as planned, the build will commence in December. I ordered a Childers receiver last night and the lead time for delivery is 16-18 weeks. In the mean time, I am on the hunt for a virgin Romanian barrel. In addition to the Egyptian Crutch Kit, I ordered a Romanian MOD 63 parts kit from Arms of America last week. As far as AK's are concerned, I placed a Romanian Draco on layaway via Atlantic Firearms two weeks ago. Once I have it in my possession, I will submit the paperwork alongside my PAP M92 to SBR the pistols. My AK buying has slowed down this year due to the fact that I have purchased eight suppressors before 41F took effect. In addition to the suppressors, I purchased a IMBEL parts kit + a IMBEL Gear Logo receiver that I will be sending off to Mark at Arizona Response Systems to build my first FAL. Last and but not least, I placed my dream rifle on a 90 day layaway last month. For those wondering, my dream rifle is a Knight's Armament Company (KAC) SR-25 EMC.

You have excellent taste! Thank you for sharing, my friend! By my measure, yes. What exactly are you building?

Thank you, sir!

What is the name of the aforementioned shop? I am interested in purchasing a Rugged Obsidian + Surge locally.

After much debate, I decided to have the barrel of my AKT-98 threaded. I had the pleasure of meeting with Robert Forbus at his shop this morning in Greenbrier, TN. Robert was highly recommended by the AK community and I was overjoyed to learn that he was local. Within an hour of arriving at his shop, Robert successfully threaded my barrel to 1/2x28. Robert was extremely accommodating + his attention is to detail is unparalleled. Having said that, I strongly recommend Robert for all of your barrel needs! With further ado, my newly threaded AKT-98 + Dead Air Armament Mask 22 suppressor!

Two weeks ago, I discovered that this little gem that was being offered for sale locally. I, without hesitation, contacted the seller immediately. We came to terms on pricing and finalized the transaction yesterday. Best of all, I had the pleasure of connecting with a fellow local enthusiast. Suffice it to say, I am extremely overjoyed with my purchase and for a variety of reasons. For starters, the rifle is an actual AK that was built by CUGIR in a Romanian factory. Secondly, the rifle is chambered in 22 LR. Last but not least, my nieces and nephews now have another option to shoot at the range. Without further ado, I present my AKT-98!

Midway through the month of January, I promised myself that I would purchase a Plum Arsenal 107 if Atlantic Firearms replenished inventory. I submitted a request to be notified when their inventory had replenished and within three days I received an email. Suffice it to say, I had a plum 107 on layaway within minutes of receiving the notification! Before I move forward with my post, I want to commend Atlantic Firearms for consistently delivering on their end. Over the past two years, all of my questions have been answered in a timely manner + their shipping department is first rate. For example, my balance was satisfied on Sunday, I received a shipping notification on Monday, and it was delivered to my local gun shop by Wednesday morning. It was a joyous morning when I received this text message from my dear friend Mike at the Franklin Gun Shop in Franklin, TN. Upon receiving the message, I was on the road within minutes! This is the first Arsenal 107FR that included the original factory box. My 107-31 that I purchased from Atlantic Firearms was sent in a rifle hard case + my 107-34 was purchased from an individual who only had the original manual and cleaning kit. Ladies + gentlemen, I present my Arsenal 107-32! She is absolute beaut! Bar none my favorite of 107's + a overall personal favorite in my collection. If any of you kind folks have a lead on a plum Bulgarian Circle ((10)) waffle magazine. Please let me know as that is the missing piece to complete my rifle! 107-32 x 107-31 x 107-34

After much procrastination, I decided to move forward with the build on my Arsenal SLR107-34 this week. I ordered a UltiMAK M1-B optics mount rail to mount my AimPoint T1 2 MOA red dot sight. My dear friend Scott conducted the installation at the Nashville Armory on Thursday. The installation was rather seamless + dialing in the red dot was equally painless. At this point, all I am lacking to finish the build is a Haley Strategic Thorntail SBR light mount, a SureFire M300 mini scout light, + I will be good to go! Aside from that, I have no AK purchases in the pipeline.
