1. OS...   Nothing to worry your pretty little head about... they are all just "Pets"!   http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25315829/ns/us_news-weird_news/t/cat-killed-missouri-identified-leopard/#.UJLARWeBy9s   Maybe some day all the so-called "Experts" will pull even with us dumb-ass hillbillies... but I doubt it!
2. Oh Shoot... if it was anyone else, I may not doubt them! :pleased: I didn't say all I know in the other post... But yes, I have seen pictures of a large black cat that was shot in east TN. The friend had several pictures with him in the pictures. He didn't report this to the TWRA or anyone else. This was about 5 years ago, cat was shot in Polk County. Could it have been a pet... I guess it could? Three years ago me and a friend were turkey hunting on Signal Mountain. My friend's uncle was the land owner where we hunted, The next door neighbor has a small farm with several animals on his place. The neighbor had several killed. It was a large cat... a cougar had been spotted several times by the farmer. My friend's uncle had seen the cat a week before our hunt and by the time he got his camera, the cat was in the road, which is about 75-100 yards from his house Close up... Normal camera range from front porch... The weekend after the pictures were taken, we were hunting the next Saturday. When we returned, the next door farmer was at my friend's uncle's house. He told us that he shot the cougar that morning and was going to bury it without anything being said. The four of us return to where the dead cat was. It was a cougar. I don't know if it was a pet... or a cougar from Florida... or where it come from? It looked just like a western cougar! So, are large cats in east TN? I know for a fact that they are! This wasn't a picture or video! So joke as you may... but I know the real truth.
3. What!? No panther pictures yet!
4. What products do you make? Type business?
5. What's the starting pay...minimum wage?
6. Smith & Wesson, model 629, .44 magnum, 8 3/8" barrel.   A guy walked over to me and asked... "Don't see how you handle that recoil?"...   At first, I thought he was joking!
7. If you do head south of Murfreesboro on I-24, you'll pass the Brantley Farm, home of the Tennessee Walking Horse. Some of my family kinfolk.
8. Many of you may not know this, but believe me... some will. A soldier(or veteran) who runs his mouth telling everyone who will listen... just how smart they are, how bad ass they are, how many they've killed, how rough of a time they had,or how great they are... are total BS!! I know this for a fact. The ones who are the "real deal" don't say a word... because they don't have to. They want to forget... but can't.
9. WHAT!? NO RUM!!??

Buying a ticket is entertainment... isn't it? Odds? That odd! If you had every number combination... what would your odds be to win? And if you had bought every combination... how much would you have won? My glass is ALWAYS half-full!

12.
I moved here from Richmond, VA 21 years ago and they still call me Yankee. What was the capitol of The South again?
Well first it was Montgomery, Alabama that served as the capital of the Confederate States of America. Then Richmond, Virginia. Near the end of the war, it was in the planning stage to relocate farther south, maybe Atlanta, GA?
13.
What people? Besides a few fishermen that area is desolate lol Sent from my HTC Inspire using Tapatalk 2
I was at the point in 1971... I blew a head gasket on a Datsun car there! It was over an hour before someone came by and gave us a ride to a phone. We had rented a car in Hilo. I'm a Howlie(Haole) but I was in the Islands long enough to be a kamaʻaina.
14. But.. 10 pounds of flour will make a hell'va big cat head biscuit!
15. I've been to Ka Lae... the southernmost point of the Big Island of Hawaii and of the 50 United States. But.. the people didn't talk the same as I do!
16. Unless you've been here for many years you would never notice the three stars in the Tennessee flag and what they really represent. Many will tell you they stand for three different land types... Flat, Hills, and Mountains. But, this isn't the real truth. They stand for "Weird", "Weirder", and "Weirdest". This really doesn't apply if you live in one of the four larger cities... they're in another class all together, don't ya know.("don't ya know" isn't a question... it's a statement of conformation.) Yeah.. we're just a little different than the middle and western end of the state.. we even let Nashville think that it's the birth place of country music... but it's not, it started in the mountains(Bristol). Memphis brags about BBQ... but we were smoking hog before they stopped speaking "Texas". Life in the mountains is slower too.. and distance isn't measured in miles... but in time. Ask "where it's at?" and the reply might be... "back over that way", with a wave of the arm. And many times you may hear "you'uns" instead of "ya'll". People over here in the mountains don't have a lot of worldly possessions... but make no mistake... they do have a lot of "pride"! You step on that and you're in big trouble! People over here will want to know where you're from... You always tell them in the next county over and you have a cousin that lives "back over that way"... and you'll be awh'rite! Oh.. you like banjur music!? https://www.youtube....h?v=Uzae_SqbmDE
17. Yankees that come from Florida are called "half-backs" here in the eastern mountains. They move to Florida only to discover that many times they're the only ones on their block to speak English. They don't move all the way back to Yankee land... but stop half way back to the Southern mountains!
18. Well... technically California was a Union State during the Civil War. But the people are not the same as the ones in the "northeast corner"... hell, no one is like them! The biggest problem seems to be their "attitude"! Most Yankees have the view that people are out to get them and most of the time, this is not true. Just about all of us "born and raised" in the South have a more "laid-back attitude" than the rest of our Country. We view things in a more humorous way, where a Yankee may view it as a "put-down", or more serious way. Many times it not the way you talk, but the way you "come across" that make people ask... "You're not from around here, is ya?". Unless you were born and raised here you will never be 100% Southern. Because even if you moved here at an early age, some of your parent's way of seeing things will carry over to you. Sure, after some time here you'll fit right in, but it will take more than a few days.
19. I believe one of the main problems is the Federal Government trying to control many programs and legislation that should be controlled on the state level.
20. Now don't be to hard on Al... after all he did invent the internet!

Im jealous, I want to make a living tormenting folks on the web too...
You got to be careful what you say on the web to people... they may threaten to kick your ass!
23. What we have here is.. failure to communicate
24. "What more could anyone possibly ask for?" Maybe a little more common sense?
25. I believe our country is just about gone to hell-o. http://www.newson6.c...-his-front-yard
