  1. Give her time and kindness, she will come around. Her past is unknown to you and her future is unknown to her. Be patient and consistent and her trust in you show itself. Her actions, as you have described, are her way of checking you out since you don't know what kind of damage an inbred, brain dead, idjit has done to her. You have the beginnings of a wonderful partnership in her. God sent you a blessing in fur!
  2. Years ago I had a Taurus 455 wheel gun in .45ACP That thing would never get through a full cylinder before locking up. I do like the .45 ACP in a wheel gun, nice novelty, but that Taurus never worked correctly. My gunsmith bought it off me and worked on it then "lost it overboard" on a fishing trip. He no longer works on Taurus at all.
  3. Very pro gun....
  4. Metal and wood, you know it's good.
  5. Seasoned with time and experience. Salt and pepper just stayed on my hair, as far as the Cajun... let's just say that only appears when required. I may be a dinosaur but I'm not a fossil yet. Good going Bob.!
  6. NEVER underestimate a determined seasoned adult.
  7. My Dad was a Nike shooter. Zeus, Ajax Herc, Pershings and such. He also let loose some Hawks as well. From White Sands to the Black Forest with 2 stops in The Damn Nam. After he retired out of the Army, he went to work for the Navy as a civvie contractor in the Bahamas, a real tough duty station. He passed a few years back and I sure miss my Old Man. GO ARMY!
  8. Spooky Angel of Death
  9. Chaparrals huh? My Old Man played with these......
  10. Email inbound. I will take it if its still available.

  14. Rest In Peace Gunny. You deserve it.
  15. "Courage is being scared to death and saddling up anyway" John Wayne. While I know is it a quote from an actor/movie it has always made sense to me. Growing up in a military family, surrounded by Troopers that have been in the line of fire and listening to my Dad recall (when he would) times of sheer terror....I am convinced that courage/fortitude/gallantry/heroism is both a mind set and a choice. One must choose to rush into automatic weapons fire to pull a buddy to safety knowing what a bullet could do to your own body. One must choose to go into a building when other lives are at stake. Yes many choose to run but others choose not to. Military, EMS, Fire and Police have chosen those professions for various reasons and suffer the benefits of those choices. The lowering of standards has contributed to the inclusion of those best suited to drive a desk or other support roles, supplanting the ones naturally gifted/trained/driven to do the job that needs done. Quotas, political correctness, and liberalism have diluted the idea of courage and bravery in segments of our society. I miss my country....... Rough men stand ready.....
  16. circa late 1950's ........my Dad is at the base of the Pershing missile carriage in the background......just to the right of the Zeus...not sure where this was taken, but its not Ft.Bliss or White Sands! I still have the propeller to the first drone he ever shot down.
  17. One less candle in the darkness, one less voice crying out, one less beacon in the storm. He was not perfect but his Lord is and Billy spent a lifetime pointing others to Him. Billy Graham did what he knew what he had to do and said what he had to say....... worldwide. God put His message in an earthen pot with cracks and flaws in it and reached millions upon millions of people through an ordinary man. So I have a question, that I ask myself, how bright is your candle?
  18. Oh boy..... that fee is gonna be astronomical!
  19. My work has me moving around so a P O Box works best for me but I have a physical address to send stuff to.....just not very secure. I really like the site and the gear offered so my TGO clothing budget is still on track. Hats, a jacket and some t-shirts. I have been waiting for this for quite some time and want to thank ALL involved with bringing it to fruition.
