Early last month I received a promotion at work that came with a pretty good raise in pay. I had been putting some money aside for some things that I "needed" for my reloading. I finally decided to order some things the other day from Wideners Reloading in Johnson City. According to my "Chrony" manual the minimum distance from the muzzle of a non-magnum rifle to chronograph is 10 feet.

Found a post from a while back from Dolomite_supafly about the 783 that has some interesting information about how they are like the Savage rifles:

Basically its a Savage rifle with Remington stamped on it. Dad has one in 30-06 and we are shooting sub 0.5" groups at 100 yards With factory "cheap" ammo.

I have a Ruger stamped 308win "accurate-mag" that is an AICS pattern mag.

Pull the floor plate off and look at the bottom of the follower. To me it looks like an "accurate-mag" brand.

I received a package in the mail today that contained not one but two knives made by TGO's notorious "Grand Torino". I am excited to say the least. They are made from 1084 carbon steel 1/8" thick. They were acid dipped and stone washed. With green G10 scales. First up:

I shoot at Cherokee rod and gun club. $75 a year if you do 4 hours of club service or $95 a year with no service. Upper range is 200 yards and you can shoot anything up to 50 bmg. Lower range is roughly 300 yards and is for anything except 50 bmg. Also has trap, skeet, archery ranges, and a fishing pond. Prices cover family. Open 365 daylight till dark except Sundays (no shooting before noon or after 5pm on Sundays.)

Well technically I won it. 6 of the guys put in $15 each and they drew my name. It even had the ghost ring sights. 9mm

I bought one a few years ago wasn't bad for the $15 I gave for it.
