  1. So I decided to test out powdercoating on some cast bullets I already had so I took some 200 gr 44cal and boiled off the lube on them.
  2.   Thanks! I just joined up over there as a "sponsor", same handle. That's exactly what I was looking for. I've got a five day weekend starting Wednesday so I'll get to reading. Looks like there is a lot to learn over there.   Thanks, I'm going to go ahead and read up on this over on castboolits to get caught up and if I still have questions between what I found here and what I'll find over there I'll take you up on your offer.
  3. So I have finally decided to try my hand at some bullet casting and powdercoating. I'm going to start out making subs for .300 blackout. I got a 230 grain Lee mold and I went ahead and ordered 3lbs of powdercoating powder from powder by the pound. So here are a couple of questions I have. First, when casting is there a specific lead mixture I should be using? (like lead to tin ratio or something) Second, Air cooled or water? Third, as for the powdercoating should I be dry tumbling? And how many at a time, for how long? Approximately, just wanting some loose guidelines. Fourth, is there any prep I need to do to the boolits after casting and before coating? And any other tips or tricks that would help out or make my life easier? Thanks in advance for taking so.excited time to help a noon out. I've read most of what I could find on here about it, especially anything from Dolomite_supafly but I just want to make sure I'm doing everything correctly and safely. (I'm also going to join castboolits too to read up on it some more.
  4. She got that one from http://www.6dollarshirts.com/t-shirts/ I love it!
  5. A pair of shorts/swimming trunks and a couple of shirts Front of shirt Back of shirt
  6. I have no idea, just the first time I've ever seen a fluffy cow. Looks like it would make a great rug though :)
  7. I have a couple pounds of it but I haven't gotten around to loading any up with it yet. I might try to load some this coming weekend.
  8. Well the other day I checked out the Knife and bladed tools section and happened across a post from willis68 about some special edition TR2's that he had up for grabs so I jumped on one. I love it! I ended up with #89 of 200. Anyway here are some pics:
  9. Received mine this morning. I am very pleased with how it looks in person. I love the size of the knife too. It seems to be only a hair longer than my daily carry protech godson. I'm going to try to get a few pics of it today and see if I can do it any justice. Thanks again willis68! 10. I'll shoot you a message next week. If you still have one by then, I'll send the money first thing Wednesday morning.
  11. That is an awesome knife! I'd love to get in on one but can't swing it this week (Just went ahead and paid my home and vehicle insurance for the next year). If you still have one Wednesday (when I get paid again) I'd take one.
  12. Nothing I like better than being cussed and threatened by kids on X-box live. I usually let them go on for a couple of matches then tell them "I'll meet you anywhere anytime and show you how your mom likes it!" Generally that really gets them going. Almost as much fun as playing the game.
  13. That thing is absolutely beautiful! I'm incredibly jealous.
  14. Rice + lead= food poisoning! You should have used rice & beans then if you don't do any good you still would have dinner!
  15. Thanks guys! I am pretty tickled about her. It was a scheduled c-section so the whole process took maybe 40 minutes. I got to watch the entire thing and got some pretty cool/graphic pictures of the process. I managed to get one picture while she was halfway in and halfway out!
